Way to go!!! What website did you find that information on???
If you book directly with
DCL, you can use the 'Check your Reservation' link on the DCL Reservations page.
Here's a link to it:
http://dcl.reservations.disney.go.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/TravelCL?NBID=2245&NEID=DCLRootNE
If you booked using a
Travel Agent, you will not be able to look at anything there, since there 'security upgrade' in that area.
I've said this many times before and I'll say it again. I don't see any harm in allowing the customer that is paying for the cruise to have read-only access to the summary information that is contained there. It allows the person that paid the fare to verify the cabin number, the payment status, and the dining time for their reservation. It doesn't disclose any 'proprietary information' that would be harmful to DCL if we could see it.
Allowing everyone to see their reservation info holds down the number of calls to the DCL reps for ordinary info and allows them to concentrate on more important things, like taking new reservations. Many times, people that can't see the info (because its blocked) call the DCL rep, then they are told they have to call their TA. So the guest calls their TA, they call the DCL rep, and then relay the info back to the guest. That's two phone calls the DCL rep had to answer for info that should be available online, with no benefit to their productivity.
Don't know if my rambling helped anyone else, but I feel better having said that!
