Who all wears glasses/contacts or has worn them?

The reason I ask this question is because my history teacher asked the same thing and almost everyone raised their had (it was tied into the lesson) I was wondering if the same was true here?
I do wear glasses when I need to see faraway.

I am near-sighted. I have been wearing glasses since I was 12. I can't wear contacts, my eyes are uneven and I need a prism in one of my lenses so I don't see double. I had 5 kids and only one wears glasses.

I wear contacts mostly, but have glasses as well to wear when my eyes just need a break. I have had glasses since 5th grade. I have also had both of my DS's checked and neither needs glasses, as of yet anyway.

I got glasses in 5th grade, got contacts in 7th.
