Just got back and had a good time.
There were some disappointments - more so than other times I have been, but overall, we still had a good time.

Stayed at the Poly and the AKL. Did some Spring TRaining games also.

Willing to answer any questions....just let me know!

gotta start on laundry!

Hi, I would love to hear all about your resorts.. when you have time could you please post on resort boards all about the poly and AKL. We are splitting our stay there in May.... any tips on both resorts would be great... I have never been to either...thanks...amy

not to be negative, but what dissapointed you?

Not meaning to be a bug-bear, But what were your disappointments then??

The biggest disappointments surrounded Enight and early entry.

We did the Tuesday Enight and many rides had significant wait time. We have done Enight at least 6 times and never had this problem. Quickly, wait time for Buzz was 20 minutes and about 30 for Big Thunder. Someone said that Space had been down a little while so that was causing other rides to be long. We did Space later in the evening and was not too bad of a line.

We also ran into long lines during early entry. We got there and rode Buzz first and were able to do it about 3 times - then the lines were 20 minutes long. We went over to Autopia where there was a 5 minute wait and by the time we got off, the line was 30 minutes. They were only running 1 line of cars and maybe about 16 cars on that line. Why not go ahead and open up the other line and get the lines moving? They did not seem too concerned about the lines either. We saw no one doing anything to move them along. Normally, during EE, we are able to get almost everything done that is open early. This time we only got about 4 rides done and by the time the park opened - the lines in Fantasy land were long. We did move over to Splash at opening and found very short lines there for about 30 minutes.

During the day, using fastpass, the lines were all very manageable. It appeared to us that they were limiting the use of fastpasses in order to keep the stand by lines bearable.

At MGM we were disappointed that they have stopped doing continuous shows at WWTBAM - Play it. They basically just do one every hour or hour and a half. Especially with the Movie Ride closed, we wished this had been more available for us. We love WWTBAM and would have loved to play it more.

Like I said - overall a good trip. CLosing Magic Kingdom at 7 was also kind of a bummer - but we knew that before we went.....but would have been nice to keep it open until 9.

Jillhou, We just got back too. We were at the Enight on Tuesday and I was also disappointed with how long some of the lines were. We tried to do SM around 9:30 and the sign said that the wait time was 20 mins! We went over to Buzz and waited in a very long line. Someone said that the ride was shut down for awhile.

I thought that the parks were very crowded. We were able to manage with EE and Fast Pass, but walking in the parks was very diffucult. I thought that 7pm seemed a bit too early for park closing, IMHO.

All in all though, we had a great trip. Wasn't the weather fabulous all week?!!!

ACtually - it was abit too hot for my tastes - but it was so nice there was no significant RAIN!!! Houston has been extremely wet and cool. The cool was nice, but the wet was not. So, would have rather had the heat in FL without the dampness!

We went to some Spring training baseball games and it was VERY hot sitting there in the sun......they were blast though!
