The biggest disappointments surrounded Enight and early entry.
We did the Tuesday Enight and many rides had significant wait time. We have done Enight at least 6 times and never had this problem. Quickly, wait time for Buzz was 20 minutes and about 30 for Big Thunder. Someone said that Space had been down a little while so that was causing other rides to be long. We did Space later in the evening and was not too bad of a line.
We also ran into long lines during early entry. We got there and rode Buzz first and were able to do it about 3 times - then the lines were 20 minutes long. We went over to Autopia where there was a 5 minute wait and by the time we got off, the line was 30 minutes. They were only running 1 line of cars and maybe about 16 cars on that line. Why not go ahead and open up the other line and get the lines moving? They did not seem too concerned about the lines either. We saw no one doing anything to move them along. Normally, during EE, we are able to get almost everything done that is open early. This time we only got about 4 rides done and by the time the park opened - the lines in Fantasy land were long. We did move over to Splash at opening and found very short lines there for about 30 minutes.
During the day, using fastpass, the lines were all very manageable. It appeared to us that they were limiting the use of fastpasses in order to keep the stand by lines bearable.
At MGM we were disappointed that they have stopped doing continuous shows at WWTBAM - Play it. They basically just do one every hour or hour and a half. Especially with the Movie Ride closed, we wished this had been more available for us. We love WWTBAM and would have loved to play it more.
Like I said - overall a good trip. CLosing Magic Kingdom at 7 was also kind of a bummer - but we knew that before we went.....but would have been nice to keep it open until 9.
