Just back WLV and YC Conceige

Wilderness Lodge Villas were beautiful. We had a one bedroom and really loved it. It is such a nice resort.

YC Conceige was very nice. Our room was very nice and we had an awesome view of Wishes every night. The staff was great. We had a code but I would never pay full price for it. We are not drinkers so it probably would be worth it if we were. The kids loved having the snacks. The breakfast was great every morning. Krispy Kremes yum. The staff always gave us some juice boxes for the kids when we were leaving for the parks. That was also great. The PB&J's were great every night for the kids. The kids loved the cookies.

We love this resort because of the pool.

We really had a great time.

I agree with you on the WLV's. We also just returned and stayed in a 2 bedroom. I loved this place and have already planned a trip next Christmas to stay there again.

We're staying YC concierge in December. Can I ask which room you had for the Illuminations view? I've heard reports that the lounge is closed in between servings, did you notice this on your stay? The pre-planners at the resort have been amazing, I was wondering if the concierge cm's were the same. Also, how is the SAB rehab going?

Last year at YC CL, the lounge was closed between servings. This is the only CL we have stayed at that closed the lounge other than at night.

We had room 5229. 2 queens and a day bed. Wonderful view of Illuminations and the boardwalk. The room was very quiet and everything looked new.

We were in room 5220. We didn't have a view of Illuminations but we had an awesome view of Wishes at MK.
The lounge was closed between 10:30 - 11:30 4:00 -5:00 and 7:00 - 8:00. It wasn't a big deal to us. The CMs were really nice and very accomodating. I don't know if I would stay in the conceige again. It was nice but I think if you don't drink than it isn't really worth it. Although, the snacks, cookies and PB&Js for the kids were great.

I didn't know the lounge was closed during those times. Thats good to know, I am going to be staying at the Yacht Club in Nov.

You probably won't even notice the lounge being closed during those times.

I think they do this to clean the lounge and prep it for the next setting.

Usually, the CM's that work there will gladly grab you a soda or something out of the lounge when the doors are closed.

Don't worry too much. YC CL is very nice and you'll have a wonderful time.

Thanks Jenn. I didn't realize that there were views of Wishes also. That's a good one to get.

I guess I'm a little spoiled at the GF concierge because they never shut the lounge down. I actually enjoy just sitting in there relaxing, but it's good to know what the actual hours are. I'm sure it won't really impact us at all. Did you notice how the Storm Along Bay rehab was going? I had heard it was mostly cosmetic.

I received a letter in the mail today regarding the "Stormalong Bay" rehab. I am going in Nov. so thats why I received it. It said this..

"........... In order for our Resort to continue to flourish as a magical destination, it is necessary for us to make enhancements from time to time. If you have stayed with us before, you are most likely familiar with our "Stormalong Bay" pool complex. While this swimming and recreation area has provided our Guests with endeless enjoyment for many years, it is time to refresh its look. Beginning Nov. 1, 2004, the pool will be under initial refurbishment. During this time, certain sections of the pool will be unavailable. However, the remainder of the main pool not imacted by the enchancement will be available for your enjoyment. In addition, the Admairal pool at Disney's Yacht Club Resort as well as the Tidal pool at Disneys Beach Club Resort are nearby for your use. We expect all work to be completed by December 23, 2004........"

They were not working on Stormalong Bay at all when we were there.
