Just back last night from 4 nights at WL. We arrived on Mon. 7/19 around 12:00pm and were immediately assigned an upgraded courtyard view room. Spent day at lodge, DTD, and dinner at Trails End. Buffet excellent as always. :goodvibes:

Tues. 7/20- MK - rained most of the day:umbrella: - which was wonderful!!! DD13 and I put our hats on (no ponchos, too hot!!!) and kept moving!!! The rain always makes the crowds smaller the CM's told us. The last time we were there was Jan. 2 - don't even ask how crowded it was ( see my tag!!) :crowded: Saw Spectromagic and Wishes made me cry as always!! Splash Mountain down most of the day. No reason given to us why. No rides were more that 60 min. stand by time. We work the fast-pass system and never waited for a ride more than 10 minutes. :cool1:

Wed 7/21 - MK - opening ceremonies - spent 1/2 day then off to MGM. Rode TOT finally DD13 dragged me onto it!! NEVER AGAIN though!!! :faint:What was I thinking? I get sick in the elevator at the WL!! Wed. night back to MK for Wishes, and Spectromagic again then E-Ride - this is a must. We did everything we wanted 2 or 3 times with no waiting!! Well worth admission. :cheer2:

Thurs - 7/22 - EPCOT - everything going well until DD and I ate too heavy lunch at American Pavillion - then back into the sun and DD nearly passed out from heat exhaustion.:faint: We had been drinking water, etc. not enough to combat heat though. Had to end the day early. Unfortunately, didn't get to use our FP for TT had to get her back to hotel. She was OK after 4 hour nap!! This pretty much ended our day in the parks. Went to Pleasure Island that night. :rockband:

Fri - 7/23 - checked out WL @ 5:00 am and drove that long, sad drive back to ATL.

To sum it all up - excellent trip, low crowds, hot but manageable weather great accomodations as always. Can't wait to go back!!! Planning on next July 05!!! :thewave:

Did you use the boats to get to MK or Contemporary? If so, is it better than taking the bus?

Thanks!:wave2:

Always used the boats. Never had to wait more than 10 - 15 minutes on one. Once we took the boat to the Contemporary because we wanted to ride monorail. It was our choice.

I was at MK on 7/20 too.:D I have to agree that the rain was a blessing in disguise. It wasn't very humid and the crowds were not bad at all.
