Dinner Crystal Palace**** We love this restaurant and were not disappointed as usual. This is becoming our first night tradition. The salmon and mashed potatoes were perfect as usual. I remembered to use those ziplock baggies to take some of those home baked cookies home with us ! :rotfl:

H&V for Character Breakfast- ****Great food selection, fresh and hot. Kids loved the characters.

Dinner Kona Cafe....****Another four stars for excellent filet...Island Sunset was a nice change from my Pina Coladas! Awesome Macademia Nut/Chocolate tart dessert. Yummy yummy yummy!

Le Cellier for Dinner *****Second best dinner of trip...Mushroom Filet did not disappoint (I like mushroom flavor quite a bit) Dessert also very good- chocolate mousse was TDF I wish I could have fit more but I ate ENTIRE steak which I have never been done before- just too yummy to waste

CRT for Breakfast- ***Food was actually very good- crepes, bacon, eggs, potatoes- everything was very good and service excellent.

Dinner at 50's PT- *don't flame me please but this was very disappointing. I ordered the Grandma's punch- I detected some whisky I believe- did not sit well with me- to say the least. Not sure if it was the drink or the food but wound up feeling queasy and nauseaus for the next week! Yes week! I am just now recovering. Sort of ruined alot of the meals after it but we perservered. My son wound up throwing up at one point( 3 days after eating here) as well as my husband... all three of us were not feeling well for days since eating here- would NOT eat here again.

Dinner WCC **Food was okay. Still feeling quesy from bug we picked up *somewhere* lol. But ribs tasted great...corn/potatoes/beans in skillet all done very well. Disappointed with apple pie for dessert- tasted cold but should have been warmed up.

Dinner California Grill- *****Best dinner of trip. Very impressed with quality of food and freshness/taste/presentation. Had this meal 5 days after 50's PT disaster and seemed to be cured after this meal LOL.

O'Hana Character Breakfast..***Great food and service. Love the orange guava juice. Fress baked breads were yummy too. Kids loved being in the parade around the room....and the characters are alot of fun at this one. Highly recommend it for the little ones!

Well, that sums it up! Any questions feel free to email me....can't wait for next year...doing the BBP next September as well! hopefully we will enjoy it more and not get sick next time:eek:

*****IMPORTANT******Before flaming begins...I am in no way blaming 50's Prime Time for us getting sick. It could have been something we picked up on the plane or even in our hotel rooms not sure where the bug came from. I am just saying we ALL got sick IMMEDIATELY after eating here. It may be a fluke or just coincidental but just wanted to share our own experience and you can draw your own conclusions. thanks for understanding!

No flames from me. I didn't particularly enjoy the food at 50s PT either (although the atmosphere and antics were great).

Thanks for your reviews. Le Cellier was the best meal we have ever eaten at Disney and we will definitely be back there. I am also looking forward to trying Kona.

Hi mommy22pumpkins thanks for the reviews!:thumbsup2
If anyone flames you for writing what you felt or happened tell them to go scratch!
Thanks again.:yay:

I was just thinking of switching to WCC from Tony's. WL has always been a favorite of DH's but we are staying somewhere else this time. We've always wanted to try LeCellier, would you mind giving a couple of details?

What did you have at Cali Grill? I just love that place.

ETA: Sorry, I didn't see you wanted questions e-mailed.

Thanks for the responses. I am still a bit queasy believe it or not. I guess it was too much food and maybe I ate myself sick a wee bit LOL. I think I will just be eating oatmeal and soup for the next few days to detox.

DH and I both had the Filet at Cali Grill with mashed potatoes and green beans. I had the terriyaki BBQ sauce on the side as the meat did not in any way need it. It was much better with just a bit of salt. DH loved the sauce and enjoyed that on his steak. I got the blueberry bliss dessert which I should have gotten a picture of...presented very artfully. Tastes just like it sounds...very rich though could only eat a few bites of each *section* (there was blueberry *soup* a little blueberry cheescake, and some kind of pasty with what tasted like cannoli filling on top.
I also got the Romaine Salad with garlic dressing and it was probably the best salad I've ever eaten. DH got the tomato salad which was also a work of art in itself and said the tomatoes were *very good* which is high praise coming from him :goodvibes
The kids liked their desserts also. One got the Rice Krispie *sushi* and the other chocolate pudding and they both shared- very cute.

I would definitely recommend eating here again.

LeCellier was also a big hit. Meat was probably the most tender I've ever had and I personally loved the flavoring. I like the atmosphere dark and quiet. My only complaint was that we felt a bit rushed...not really the waitresses fault I guess it is just such a busy time with the free dining they don't realize they're doing it.
If you like chocolate mousse as much as I do you will love this dessert! It is my all time favorite. I was not disappointed at all- had to help the kids out with this one:laughing:

thanks again for the well wishes...Our waitress was not very good at 50's PT either- not even funny just kind of mean. My son was actually scared of her. The other waitress for the tables right next to ours was more fun and nice with the customers. Ours seemed like she was just a nasty woman and it wasn't much of an act for her :sad2: Bad experience alltogether and we've been waiting to eat there for about 8 years! Very disappointing.

Good luck to everyone with you eating adventures and if you have any other questions please ask away! :thumbsup2

Enjoyed reading your reviews, thanks for posting.

Yeah we always go to 50's primetime cafe, and this past time was not as good- simply dissappointing. It was so freaking crowded because of free dining- which made the experience worse. When the wait staff CM's has time to joke around with you, it's a lot more fun. I will say the S'Mores were SO yummy, but hey, I love marshmallows. haha.

I ate at California Grill too a few weeks ago and it was SUCH a great meal, we were seated in one of the 2 best tables (very right side of restaurant at the window).
