Whispering Canyon Cafe~ my mom and I shared the skillet, my dd had the grilled salmon off of the kids menu
Chef Mickeys~ we did get there late but they had no trouble seating us. the food was good as usual and the wait for characters wasn't as long.
50's Cafe~ the food was good my mom had the meatloaf, my dd had the kids meatloaf (it seems as though they have gone back to there old kids menu)
1900 Park Fare~ My dd got to open the dining room.:lovestruc :cheer2:
Ohana Dinner~ they did have a new menu which was good but the wait staff was a little on the forgetful side.
Ohana Breakfast~ this meal was good I didn't care for the eggs but then again I really only like eggs at home but everything else was good and again the wait staff was a little on the forgetful side and we waited until everyone that was before us and after us before they actually sat us which was a little upsetting but we were already asigned to a table so that was what was taking so long and the onlooking view of cindys castle from our table was made it all worth it.

We had great time at all of these restuarants of they are mostly our favorites and we have enjoyed them every trip.

Thanks for sharing... we have ADR's at all you mentioned except 1900 for our first family trip in June.. However I am thinking of xlning a few due to the ridiculous June surcharge!

After we arrived and checked in for our 4.30 ressie Boris came and asked us if she would like to help him open the dining room and she said yes. It is really just a random selection type of thing that I forgot they do. They also do this at Akershus for breakfast i don't know about lunch or dinner. I think they call it the princess of the day or something like that.

ETA~ why is the surcharge for the whole month of June what holiday is in June that I don't know about.

Nice choices you made. What meal did you have at 1900? We are doing dinner there our 1st night in May, looking forward to it.

We did dinner. We love the breakfast there as well though we just didn't have enough room to fit it in and we did the Ohana breakfast for the first time b/c thats what dd wanted to do.

Regarding the 50's PTC, what are the choices on the children's menu? Is the menu on Allears.net current? Thanks so much!!

I just took a look at allearsnet and that menu looks correct b/c my dd had the meatloaf. I will say this if you are on the ddp and do the kids picks don't order the app b/c its not included at least they didn't offer it to my dd.

ETA~ they were out of the kids paper menus so she had to tell us what was on the menu.

I believe the June menu surcharges are for a new holiday created by Disney:

The Feast of Maximum Occupancy

Hi~ I am glad you had a nice vacation..can you go into some some description about the whispering Canyon?..I am making my ADR's this weekend and I have that place on my list for breakfast for the morning of my 7 year old's birthday..I heard the waitstaff do antics and they do a nice job on birthdays...can you tell me about your experience? Thanks ;)

I have never been there for breakfast but I have been there for lunch and dinner. When we ate there for lunch our waitress told us that they do the majority of their antics at breakfast and dinner. When we ate there for lunch it was my MIL's bday and they made her run around the room w/ a wooden pony singing happy bday to herself. When we ate there for lunch the big thing was mainly the ketchup if someone asked for it they would have to yell across the room ketchup and what ever table had it they had to bring a this 4ft inflatable ketchup bottle along w/ however many jars were on their table to who ever asked for ketchup.

Hi! Which meal did you have at Chef Mickey's? We are considering going there for dinner one night and we would like to know how it is.

We had breakfast. I have had the dinner before and we didn't care for it now w/ that being said we had the very last table seating of the night so that could have had something to do w/ it but we prefer breakfast there.
