We are Disney veterans, but newbies at the whole Universal thing. We stayed onsite at the HRH----WOW, the express pass is worth the price of the hotel. On Tuesday afternoon, the line for Spiderman had a 45 minute wait--we got on in 1 minute and 45 seconds. Yesterday, the line for the Hulk had a 30 minute wait by 9:45am. Once again, we waited less than 3 minutes. The longest wait we ever had was once for MIB. We waited 22 minutes in the Express Pass line. It was strange, since we rode immediately after that and had no wait at all.

Also, I wasn't aware that Universal doesn't let you carry anything with you on many of the rides. You have to put purses, backpacks, bags, etc. in a locker first. Lockers were free for the first hour. However, sometimes, it was annoying to stand in line just to get your stuff out of a locker. If you don't need a purse/backpack/etc--DON'T BRING IT! Next time, we are all going with cargo shorts and lots of pockets.

Sounds like you had a good trip. :) We love HRH & I agree, "FOTL is awesome!!!" :thumbsup2 I never carry anything into the parks. That's what my hubby's pockets are for. :p

Is it only at IoA you can't carry bags on, or is it at both parks? I usually always carry a small bag with me at parks for my camera and such. If it's really a pain, I will leave it at home.

You can't carry on bags at either park. ROTM and MIB both have that restriction. Here's a clue: If you see free lockers near the ride, then you have to put any carry on bags, stuff in the lockers.

Sounds like you had a great trip at Universal! Nice walk to the parks from HRH, huh?:thumbsup2 Thanks for reporting back! When do you return?

We learned early on just to either have a teeny little pouch or keep things in pockets. It sure saves a lot of time.
