Just back - thank you all for a wonderful trip

My mom (68), son (18) and I (43) just got back from our first trip to Southern California. Thank you all for all of the great suggestions, tips, help, etc. We went to DL and DCA, Universal Studios, Hollywood, San Diego Zoo and San Diego Sea World. So if anyone has any questions I can help with about any of those things - just ask. We stayed at the Candy Cane Inn for half the week and loved it!! We then went down to San Diego and stayed at The Pacific Terrace hotel and it was also great.

Glad you had an awsome trip! We are staying at the CCI in November for the first time and I keep reading such great reviews on it. Glad that you liked it. Nothing more nerve racking than picking a place to stay for your trip. Once again, welcome home and glad that your trip was great!

The Candy Cane had the most beautiful flowers and was an easy walking distance to DL. We ate our breakfast (a very nice Continental one) every morning out by the pool. Really no room is very far from the pool and breakfast area because it is a small hotel. We really liked our second floor room because it was so quiet with no one walking around above us or by the room. You will love the hotel!!

where are some good places to eat? did you have a sit down dinner? how was the zoo and seaworld? we are going on our so.cali. vacation the 1st of june and we are so excited. we will be @ the hojo.
