I want to thank everyone on the boards for the great reviews on the board. We spent 4 nights at Holiday Inn, I thought the hotel was very clean,the staff was very polite, they had 2 big pools and they were clean and warm. We did not eat at the cafeteria, so can't rate that. It was walking distance to Old Town, which was fun. It was an older hotel, but I was not disappointed in any way. It was nice having the microwave and refrigerator in the room. I would stay there again.
We then spent 4 nights at Quality suites and had a 2 BR suite. It again was very clean, people were polite. It was nice having a kitchenette. The contenintal breakfast had pancakes, waffles, muffins and fresh fruit. There always seems to be plenty. The jacuzzi, which I did not go into, seemed dirty, but the main pool was clean, but not heated. There was 5 adults and 3 children in our party, and we were all pleased about the suite. I would recommend this also. They were both very close to WDW and both offered shuttle service.
The only drawback on the trip is the construction on 192, it was bottlenecked all the time. The weather was very cool while we were there, only a couple of nice warm days. The day we went to MK, was a zoo. It was cool and windy, but the lines were so long we only it was difficult getting on alot of the rides. We did so a character dinner at Crytstal palace and it was nice, the highlight of the day.
