WOW! No crowds at all. What a fantastic time. Walked on everything, great weather, can't begin to count how many times we had the bus all to ourselves.

Well, I was stuck up here in PA!!! :rotfl2:

My airplane ticket isn't good until 10/29!!! Can't wait!

I'm here in Michigan broke and the kids are in school.. couldn't make it to Disney!

At home planning our trip for President's Week-- when the place will be PACKED! Can't wait til the day I can go in Sept! :woohoo:

I'm in Tampa, and took a quick trip up to DTD last Friday evening. I haven't been to the parks since Labor Day weekend though. I'm saving up for Food & Wine Festival.... ;)

Matter of fact we were at WDW too. We did give up after the 2nd wave of thunderstorms on Tuesday while at MK (wasn't digging the lightening portion of it). Went to the resort, warmed up, changed and hung out at DTD in the rain.

I was there! Didn't you see me? I was the one swatting away at the love bugs!! BWAHAHAHA!! Hope your trip was a s great as mine!

I was there as well. Luvbugs suck.. They were everywhere after that rain storm we got. MK was packed last Thursday (more packed than last year) but every other park was walk on everything.. :thumbsup2

Hey Jessica, we've got a chocolate lab too! We've been to WDW many times in September - NEVER saw as many love bugs as last week. YUCK! Other than that... absolutely fantastic.

I want to know where all the other Lime Green Mickey Heads were in WDW last week. I was there, also, and I thought there were supposed to be many other DISers. But I never saw any other LGMHs. Wasn't the lack of crowds great? On 9/20 Soarin had a 10 minute wait at 11:15, or you could get a FP for about 12:15-1:15. I got to ride it twice by getting a FP, then doing stand-by. FP time was almost open when I finished riding the first time. And on 9/18, I rode Dumbo 3 times in a row without having to get off because there were so few people (granted, this was just before "Wishes").

I'll be there tomorrow!!! Glad to hear the crowds are non-existant...

Hoping this holds true for this week as well, I was thinking of going to the park after choir practice tomorrow.

I hope it stays that way for this week also. :thumbsup2

Too busy working my two jobs to make an appearance at WDW this past week and this coming week, but plan to take a day and go the first week of Oct. I have not been in two weeks am having withdrawal pains! lol

We were there last week as well. While there was hardly a wait for most rides, I would still say the parks were "crowded''. Now granted, they weren't as crowded as during the summer or the holiday season, but there were quite a few people there. The busses were always standing room only, except for 1 time on Monday morning.

However, there was walking room, and you weren't bumping into someone everytime you turned around.

I would recommend going at this time of year again!!

I am hoping it in not because they are waiting to go this week !! We leave in 2 days !!

:sad2: We were there from 9/9 to 9/19 and we were very happy with the crowd levels. :goodvibes We were pleasantly surprised when we went to AK on Thurs 9/13 and the wait for EE and KS, surprisingly, was only 10 min. We went back on Monday, 9/18 (which was EMH a.m. ) and the lines were about 20-25 mins. Still much better than the summer time. One surprise was that they stop issuing FastPasses AT EE late in the a.m. They hadn't run out, they just stopped doing them. I guess they deciding it wasn't crowded enough.

Also, even though we had to change some of our ADR, we still had no problem eating where we wanted. (And we ate like pigs!-I'm still full :rotfl2: )

And yes, the lovebugs were annoying. However, this was the first time in 10 trips where we have been biten by bugs. Not the lovebugs but skeeters and some very bitey gnats. We had to buy off at AK to stop the bug feeding fest!

We were there along with everyone else from our hometown. School was out and I saw more friends there than I do at Target! The kids loved it. On and off rides without waits most of the time. It was great. It was worth the love bugs! BUT I saw the crowds pick up Thursday night and swell on Saturday before we left.

We were there Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday! We got home yesterday. There were more lovebugs to be seen around us than people. But, that was a really good thing! Maggie
