We just returned from a trip Sept 19 through Sept 25 and wanted to share our dining reviews. Our trip was DH and myself. We were on the dining plan, but not free dining since we are DVC members.
9/19 - Tutto di Italia. This was one of the highlights of the week. FABULOUS! I had the Lasagna which was easiliy the best lasagna I have ever eaten. We were seated immediately - prior to our reservation time.
9/20 - Narcooses. The disappointment of the week. Since this was 2 dining credits, I was expected way better. Our reservation was for 8:40 and we were seated around 9:00. I ordered the whole lobster and DH ordered the surf and turf. Since you can view the kitchen from your seats, I could see our food sitting on the counter to be delivered for at least 15 minutes. When we received it, it was very cold. Sent it back, only to have them reheat it instead of giving us a new plate. Reheated lobster is not that good. The restaurant did comp us for an appetizer. Overall, not very good and regretted wasting 2 credits on the meal.
9/21 - Kouzzina. Can I just say WOW!!! I wished we had eaten here 3 times. Everything was fantastic - from the service to the appetizers - dinner - and dessert! Will definetely return. My DH had the whole fish which he said was excellent. I had the pork tenderloin. We also tried two appetizers - calamari and fried cheese. Both were very good. For dessert, I had the doughnuts and my DH had the baklava. YUM!
9/23 - Teppan Odo. This is always a must for us and it was fabulous again. They were running 25 minutes behind so we did sit later than planned. But, as usual the food was great as was the entertainment.
9/24 - Le Cellier. This was our first visit to Le Cellier and I was only able to get a late lunch (2:00), but it was still wonderful. Steak melted in your mouth. I had the NY Strip and DH had the Filet. We also had the sampler appetizer. The soup is wonderful (even tried to make it at home).
Overall, it was a great dining week. Even caught the beginning of food & wine.
