Cinderella's Royal Table - Dinner - used 3 TS credits for 4 people.
We had a 5:45pm ADR and were seated within 5 minutes. Cinderella was waiting to greet her guests in the lobby, so we got pictures and autographs with her before eating.
Appetizers: 1 Caesar salad (DD13 and I were going to split this, but neither of us liked it, so DH ate it), 1 Shrimp Cocktail (it comes with shrimp and mussels, but DH asked for it without mussels and got extra shrimp), and 1 kid's appetizer (this was fruit, cheese and veggies with dip).
Entrees: DH got the King cut prime rib (he liked it, I took a taste and thought it was very bland). DD13 and I shared the beef filet. This was delicious!!!!!!! The sauce they put on made it so tasty! We shared and the steak was plenty big enough to share and they gave us each separate plates of potatoes. DD9 got the kid's chicken strips with fruit (it was no problem to sub fruit for the mashed potatoes). They also gave us bread, which was very good!
Desserts: The whole reason we wanted to eat here was for the slipper desserts! We got 2 of them and DD9 got a kid's crown sundae (which DH ate because she really wanted his slipper). DD13 and I shared the other slipper. It was much smaller than I expected and I wished we would have each had our own. I also got a cupcake for my b-day, which DH ate since I was all about eating that slipper
The slipper was very yummy and we ate every last bite
Drinks: 3 diet cokes and 1 water (they let us know up front that no specialty drinks were included with the dining plan).
They also sang Happy Birthday to me (calling me "Lady Mom"). It was a nice atmosphere here and beautiful views. It was something we've always wanted to do, so I'm glad we tried it.
The meal would have cost $128.76. If we weren't on the dining plan (free or not), I don't think I'd spend that much for the food we got. I felt the choices here were very limited. However, I'm glad we tried it.
Stay tuned ... 50s Prime Time is next (it was a HOOT!)
