Just back - POTC and Jack are awesome! Any questions on anything?

:thumbsup2 I rode POC on the 5th acoupole of times and on the 7th (opening day)... can not believe how real Jack Sparrow looks... unbelievable!!!! I love the ride... all together rode it about 4 or 5 times.... it was great... it didn't feel as though it had changed all that much, still had a real good feel about it... a couple of new things added.... But the ride was fantastic!!!! And i agree with the OP, lines were not that bad.... On the 5th, lines said they were 20min, however I don't think we waited 10min... and on the 7th lines said 30min, but they moved so quickly.... maybe 20min....

Had a great trip...... I didn't think the crowds were all that bad.... Maybe I was expecting massive lines..... But over all, not that bad!!!!

To all those who are going to WDW, Jack Sparrow is a site.... You can't stop looking at him...... :thumbsup2

Thanks for the report. I'm glad to heaer pirates wasn't essentially changed, just spruced up. Yo ho.

Does anyone know how often they have the "Captain Jack Tutorial" show in Adventureland? I haven't seen anywhere online any sort of schedule, and I just would hate to miss the show on our next visit.

Thanks for the report, I've been dying to hear how the new additions look prior to our trip in Sept.

Peppers: Jack's tutorial played about 5 times the day(s) we were in the MK. It is listed in the times guide, easy to determine exactly when he'll be out. Have a blast!

Interesting. My family was there the other day, and he wasn't listed. I wonder if he's taking a break? Thanks for the info though!

Question!
It seemed that after the first movie, the merchandise even in the store at the end of the ride was just eh. Nothing really great and little that really was remenicent of the movie or let's be honest, DEPP! :bitelip: :rolleyes1
How is it now? Both at the end or the ride and in the parks in general? I was at the Disney Store today and got a few things but was holding back for hopefully more and better at WDW. Please tell me they are catering to us shop-a-holics that can't get enough of PotC movie stuff! I just want a t-shirt with Jack Sparrow's likeness on it for Jack's sake! :lovestruc And not the creepy one wih no eyes. It's cool in it's own way but no irises creep me out.

I got my pirate Mickey antenna toppers! 2 for the inevitability that one will be stolen. Then when 2 goes, well, time for a new character. :sad2:

they have THE BEST CAPT. SPARROW shirt in red! it is so cool I wanted one but couldnt find it in a pooh friendly size :(

they also have a really cool Cpt. Sparrow doll that looks really lifelike!

Everyone have a blast plucking up that Pirates treasure in the MK! We even ordered the pirate ship playset to go with our monorail, castles, and rides that we put around the Christmas tree (yes, we have it bad! I mean good! You know what I mean.) It is so fun to receive shipments from WDW a week after your trip - I certainly wasn't lugging the ship and light-up castle on the plane with me!
