another relaxing long weekend at portofino. hotel was full, but it just never feels crowded. always room at pool, fitness center, restaurants. loved it again. any questions? fire away. love this hotel.

I'm looking forward to our first stay at the Portofino (NEXT MONTH! ). What type of room did you have? We have adjoining standard garden views. Wondering how the garden views are.

Hope the hotel is going to be decorated nicely for Christmas!

My family will be there in January for the first time. We have stayed at HRH and RPR and have loved both. We are really excited about getting to stay at PBR this time. Questions:
1. What was the best way for you to get to the park? I know there is a water taxi but we like walking. I have heard PBR is furtherest away from the parks so is it too far to walk?
2. What did you think about the size of hotel room and the bathroom? Comfortable for two adults and two teenage girls?
3. Favorite breakfast place?

We have stayed at PBR twice and loved it. The quickest way to the park is the least scenic but a very quick walk. Walk along the foot path but instead of following it along the waterway walk across the street to the Hard Rock, before getting to the entrance of the Hard Rock take a right through the parking lot and behind the Hard Rock. Once at the end of the parking lot you will be on the bus path to the parks, the entrance to US will be on your right or continue straight for IOA. For the most scenic walk stay on the foot path and it will bring you to the same area.

Bathrooms are HUGE. Everything is inside the bathroom though. There are two sinks.

I love a big bathroom! My teenage girls and I can share space getting ready in the am! Thanks Damo!
