Our cast of characters: me, DH, DD8, DD6 and DS3. We stayed at POR (AB section) for the first time. We had some fair food, some good food and some great food.

Planet Hollywood, DTD for dinner: very mediocre food, very loud. We found this restaurant to be very overpriced for the quality. The kid's meals are $9.95 plus you pay for their drinks. For this kind of restaurant that is ridiculous.

Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway, Epcot: I had read bad reviews and was pleasantly surprised. The food was not fabulous, but it was fine. I have very picky eaters for kids and they do not all like the same things, yet everyone found plenty they liked. DH and I loved the yummy potato casserole.

POR food court: We ate here for breakfast and dinner a couple of times. The food was ok (it is food court food after all), but we did not like the setup. You go through different lines for different things. So because my kids like different things, we waited in 2 to 3 lines for food, plus the checkout lines. There has to be a more efficient way to handle this.

Boma's for dinner at AKL: this place is beautiful and the food was very good. I won't say great because it was difficult to find a lot that we loved since the food was so foreign to us (no pun intended). Surprisingly, the kids found plenty to eat by mixing the kids' offerings with the breads, desserts and fruit. The desserts were great. The only weird thing was our waitress. She seemed very sweet, but when my DD6 didn't like one of her desserts, the waitress took a spoon off our table and ate the dessert herself. Weird, huh?!

Cosmis Ray's at MK for lunch and dinner: Again, different lines for chicken vs. hamburgers, but this place is great for fast food. The prices are decent for WDW and the kids are entertained by the animatronic Ray's singing. The mashed potatoes are very good.

Crepe cart in France, Epcot for a snack: Yuck!! The crepes are premade and just heated up. DS and I got a chocolate crepe. It was a pre-made crepe with choc sauce (like hershey's) poured in it and over it. Skip this one.

Chakranadi Chicken Shop in AK for lunch: serves oriental food. The portions were on the smallish side, but it was fabulous to not have to eat the same ol' fast food.

Crystal Palace in MK for lunch: the food was mediocre at best. This was the worst buffet we've eaten at WDW. It wasn't terrible but certainly not good either. The wait was ridiculous. We had a PS and still waited at least 20 minutes (after being told the wait was 5 to 10 min tops) in the heat with no place to sit. Absolutely not worth the wait. The characters were fun and sweet, but you're better off going to Cosmic Ray's.

Hollywood and Vine at MGM for lunch: The best food (other than Ohana's) that we have had at WDW. I had read bad reviews before we left for WDW but we decided to give it a shot. It was great. The food, especially the different types of salads and the side dishes, were fabulous. The desserts weren't anything great, but the kids liked them. The adult food was very familiar foods with just slightly different enough twists to make them extra delicious. Totally worth the wait. The characters, especially Minnie, were very sweet.

I think that is it. We mostly ate breakfast in the room and several times for dinner, we ate junk on the run. I'd be glad to answer any questions.

Thanks for the review. We've eaten at Hollywood and Vine twice and both times came away satisfied. It was my birthday during my last visit and my wife arranged for the characters there to bring be a birthday cupcake and a card signed by all.

Boma experience--very wierd indeed!!
I know WDW CM's don't make much to start, but sounds like yours was starving---.
I guess she meant it to be funny, but it does seem inappropriate bevavior. Could see it happen at a place like Whispering canyon tho---.
