Hi everyone,
You guys have helped us so much, so I thought I would give you our reviews. We were a party of 11--5 adults, 5 kids, 1 infant (high chair)

Ohana's dinner-640pm resie --actually seated, about 730pm--they were packed! Many people just showing up trying to get a seat-some with luck some without--it was making some people mad around us that had ADR's and got up early to make them!--Food A+++++--very very good, service was good, our waitress had 2 large tables but all in all she was good. We love this meal and will hopefully be back if we can get another ADR!

Crystal Palace breakfast--810am resie--seated about 810am--very efficient--great buffet, kids loved the character interaction--Piglet was THE BEST! Food was great--we hope to do this one again too!

Akershus breakfast--1040am ressie--seated about 1050am--good food, good server, good character interaction--except snow white was a little tempermental--she must not have been having a good morning--but very good and we would go back.

Chef Mickey's--530pm ressie--seated about 530pm--buffet pretty good--food selection could be better, we were seated in the back room with a very loud table next to us--this made it not so enjoyable--even though this restaurant is loud anyway--these people were even louder! characters were all good except Minnie--she was in and out in a flash--litterally I think she was at our table maybe 60 sec, and in our room total for 5 min--with 5 tables in each room--so about 60 sec per table. Goofy and Pluto were GREAT!!! Very kid friendly and good interaction. Mickey and Donald were good too. We would do this again but I think I would try to request the main/larger room.

Any questions? I will help any way I can. It was a great trip all in all!

Sounds like a great trip!

Thanks for the reviews. We dined at the same places except Akershus. We liked them all too, so hopefully we will enjoy Akershus next trip.

We were a half-hour late for our Ohana ADR and didn't get seated until two hours later! Good thing we adults liked the bartender and his drinks so much, and the kids had the arcade and gift shops to browse.

We were seated in that "outer" room one time at Chef M's and didn't enjoy it there either. This time, I forgot to ask for the main room, and we were placed in the room that's alongside the buffet food. It wasn't as bad as that back room, but we still prefer the main dining room.

Thanks, I'm so glad I found your review, these boards take forever to do a search! I am thinking of doing dinner ADRs @ Ohanas. I see that it is not a character meal but have heard that there is "entertainment". Sounds kinda familiar, but I can't remember what I read in the past. Could you give me an idea of what goes on at dinnertime?

Also, is the bread pudding the only thing for dessert. It does not sound chocolate-y enough for my crew, and we have "free" dining, so I need to find out more before I make an ADR there. Thanks a bunch!

The bread pudding isn't chocolate at all!

Does "coconut" races sound familiar - I think that's one of the activities.

Ohana's is our favorite place to eat. On the kid side, they do coconut races, sometimes a limbo dance, and/or Hula dancing.

Food - grilled shrimp (the best), grilled steak, grilled pork, grilled turkey, ginger wings, dumplings, salad with honey lime dressing and sides. All the grilled items are on skewers and they come by the tables, serving you what ever you want.

The desert is a bread pudding with ice cream & bananas foster topping. They can also do ice cream & chocolate syrup (or at least they did with one in our group). They do have additional deserts, but they are a-la-cart.
