Our two day MK blitz with my 6 and 8 year old girls was a HUGE success thanks to all the tips here! Stayed offsite and rented a car, and we were IN the park by 10am on Friday after leaving Nashville on a flight at 6am!!
We never got a FP for 7DMT, but we were there for rope drop on Saturday morning - valet parked at Contemporary at 6:45, walked to the entrance, and we were first in line for rope drop at 8am on the dot. That was a MADHOUSE! I couldn't believe how fast the line filled up - we were on and off the ride by 8:11am and it stretched past Tea Cups already.
Really enjoyed our dinner at Skipper Canteen, although the server jokes were a bit eyeroll inducing.
I got the steak salad and enjoyed it. Came home with a canteen souvenir mug that I knew to ask about!
CRT breakfast was a hit for all of us! Been dying to do that for years and finally made it happen.
We never waited in a single line more than 10-15 minutes tops thanks to Touring Plans and FP management. It can be done even on an 8/10 crowd level day! It was a LOT of walking but the girls did great.
Memory Maker was worth every single penny, even for two days. Amazing photos and ride shots that I loved being able to share from the park to my social channels.
Thanks for all the help planning! Looking forward to a longer trip in 2017 with the whole family!
