Just back Nine Days of Delicious Disney Dining

This was our first ever trip so our first DDP experience. Wow what a deal!!I will reviewall our experiences, thoughts suggestions etc..
Day 1 Lunch on arrival at Pop, we had 4 adults and ! child.. tried the double cheeseburgers ( 2 of us) came with ff ,I had the crusted chicken with a salad and breadstick, 1 had the chicken fingers and fries, Dgs had the Mac & Cheese with grapes and carrots. Everyone loved there food, desserts we tried Twinkie Tiramasu ( my personal favorite) worms and dirt, Tyedye Cheesecake and chocolate cake.
Supper was at Planet Hollywood at 4:45pm . I was really worried about this as the reviews had not been good..Well we loved it!!!As we went in you pose for a picture the one of 3 grandkids was absolutely gorgeous. So for $20 we bought a 5 x 7 with 2 key chains and 2 wallets.
Our waiter was V.J and he was awesome.For appetizers we were allowed 4 and got.. Potatoe skins Yummy, Mini Tortillas double yummy,chicken crunch.. okay,and the chicken wings which were a big plate with some on a stick and the rest wings the wings were a little to hot for our taste the stick ones were delicious.
For entrees DGS got Spaghetti and meatballs it was a very generous portion with 4 meatballs, the rest of us ordered Rib Eye Steak 3 well done and mine RARE, I requested a baked potato instead of fries no problem. All came with delicious fresh green beans that were tasty.Only complaint was my baked potatoe could have cooked a little more and been hotter. The steaks were great!
Desserts 9which we were really pushing it to eat were very good I had theKey Lime pie which was very refreshing and light, DGD had a Banana split, DGD had chocolate cate cake , DD had Brownie which was HUGEand smothered in cream, DGS had asundae our bill would have been $193 before tip. The decor her is great DD was just in awe. It was a little loud but not enough to bother me, the old lady of the bunch. My tip here is go early .. as we were leaving it was getting busy. We gave this place an A plus.

Day 2 Donald's Breakfastaurus Had 8a.m. ressies,Bus got us there in plenty oftime. We were seated quickly. Waiter was very attentive lots of refills and chatting. Food was good typical breakfast buffet,we all had more than enough to eat. The character interaction was majical because this was our First ever character meal. Waaiter has a fake bottle of mustard whichhe squirted at DD her eyes almost popped out of her head. Of course thenn DGS wanted to be squirted .Which he was!! I did feel a liitle rushed as this was our first character experience we hadn't quite got the EAT AUTOGRAPH< HUGS system down pat. Give it a B plus, Not sure would do again not because of anything wrong ,just might be other thinns that fit into schedule better 8am was too early for us!!

Snax at AK we had 3 orders of breadsticks from Pizzafari . Came with 4 bradsticks and sauce DELICIOUS A plus

Supper at Pop Century Iwill just tell you any new things we ttried. I had the Chicken Alfredo came with chicken( same as Crusted chixcken) and pasta covered in alfredo sauce and a bread stick, Girls tried cheessteak wraps came with fries and free salad, DGS had Pizza , desserts we had the same assortment Think TWINKIE TIRAMUSU!!

Right here I'll tell it again . On the plane home I was sitting munching on a can of snax mix when the steward passed by I quote him " Oh! My NUTS aren't good enough for you!" As I spluttered snax mix all over DD is asking what's so funny ! When I told her she joined me in our Last Laugh !!

Day 3 We had lunch ressies for 11:40 am at Garden Grill in Epcot. I forgot autograph books and raced back to stroller to get them! When I returned DD says We're the Family of the Day! To myself I think "I bet they tell everyone that' But low and behold we really were! The chef prepared us a special appetizer Porg spareribs with coleslaw,then we had the Family style platter Dgs grabbed the bowl of Mac & Cheese we all dug into the rest, I was the only one who ate the catfish and I liked it Thr potatoes were also really good, the beef and turkey were so so. The character interaction was non stop, which may have been due to being Family of the Day. For dessert each of the kids (2 were aults on ddp) got a cupcake to decorate and we got this absolutely delicious triple berry cream puff that was the best dessert ever. We signed the Family album, received 5 glow cubes 1 of which DGS dropped into the Land!! As we were lieaving we were given a FP to any ride!! For Majical experience this was a definate A plus the food other than the dessrt and potatoes a B. DD decided after this trip she really prefers buffetsor ala carte11We ate supper at Pop only new thing was the chicken flatbread this was excellent and Moms night out Chicken dinner 2 pcs chicken, potatoes, green beansand roll excellent!!

Thanks for posting your reviews, especially the review of Planet Hollywood. I love the premise of Planet Hollywood -- movie memorabilia and all that -- but I've never had a burning desire to go there, because it never seems to get terrific reviews. This fall, though, I'm taking my 9-year-old grandson on a special trip, and I thought he might like to eat there one night. At least it's not princesses, right? I think I'll call tomorrow and make a reservation.

Day 4 MGM We had 10:20 ressies at H&V arrived a little early and got in right away. Our waitress was very friendly. Immediately June came to our table, we then had time to get our food which was buffet style,I liked it a littlr more than Donalds, also a little more room. More characters followed, Leo, JOJO, and Goliath. All spent time with us . The staff got the kids involved in a dance around the restaurant. I had time for seconds. It was good!!After all the negative reviews I was pleasantly surprised. I give it an A

Supper was at Sci Fi and was a welcome break from a busy day at 5 pm. Again our waiter Michael was awesome,. We sat in a car Kyle was our driver with co pilot Samantha DD & Steph in the middle and me as the back seat driver. The place is kindof dark and the movie clips kept the kids occupied. Michael let me have the oreo cookie milkshake for my drink it was absolutely delicious, the others had pop. For appetizers we had onion rings and the nachos and dip both were excellent. Kyle had Mac & cheese (are you noticing a pattern) the girls and DD had steak and I had the Shrimp dish. They all loved the steak my shrimp was OK but I wouldn't order it again!! Desserts were chocolate cake, sundaesand I had the apple crisp which was not good. DD 7 I tried to get Michael to take the kids home and he agreed and said he had lots of yard work for them and a Pit Bull. Expecting the kids to freak he was somewhat taken back ,when excitedly they said they had a pit bull puppy!! It was funny!! I would definately go there again but would order the steak or the reuben I give it an A because everyone else loved their food!!

Jo the characters were non stop sitting down with us ,even flirting and the moving slowly is relly cool. When you are there check the Land for Kyles Glow cube! It was GLOWING when we left!!
