We got back last night (9/5) from a wild and crazy long weekend at WDW.
... MNSSHP was a real treat and I recommend it to anyone, at least once. This was our third party, first since 2012. It was fairly crowded, probably infested with every blogger worth her or his salt. (j/k... I appreciate the bloggers) We did some rides, characters, and trick-or-treating. Hallowishes is always a treat, as is the parade. I was not overly thrilled with the Hocus Pocus show. I mean it was OK, but I sort of miss the old villain show. All in all, I'm glad we paid the extra money and went again.
...We dodged Hurricane Hermine Thursday night and Friday morning with no problems. Had great weather until a soaking rain on Sunday evening.
... It's a long story, but two of us sort of on a goofy dare did FEA on standby. Oh my stars! That queue is an absolute meatgrinder on poor families that have to wait. I saw nearby families go from happy and bouncy to almost Divorce Court. Not to mention the poor kids who were just wilting. Just a guess but I am thinking guest satisfaction is not very high with this attraction due to the long queue. I can imagine that this will keep a lot of first time guests from returning. As for the ride, it was well done. In no way worth the effort though.
... MK was crowded Sunday (as expected). I think the reduced capacity, especially after the rains came, were a problem for operations. I saw huge numbers of people who seemed to be wandering around wondering what to do. I have no problem at all with attractions closed for rehab (currently BTMRR, IASW, Liberty Belleri riverboat, SFTH), but once the storms began and several attractions closed for safety reasons you suddenly had masses of people with nothing to do. The Ariel ride had a FP queue that was clear out to the attraction entrance! Probably 50-60 poor saps were standing in line for a closed SDMT that would not reopen for hours even as it steadily rained on them. I was going to wait around to see MSEP one last time, but DW and I opted for a hot shower instead about 9 o'clock or so. Our kids stayed until midnight and got to see the parade.
... Heaven's to Betsy! The Peter Pan queue was certainly not up to Disney standards Sunday morning. We were among the first ones on, and noted how much trash was in the queue. I am really surprised that no one swept up after closing Saturday night. Also much of the painted scenery and railing had large and noticeable paint chips. Hopefully this classic ride gets some TLC soon.
... Lest it sound like I'm complaining, that is not my intent. We had another great trip that was over too soon, but I am thankful for the time available that we all had together at our family's happy place.

As far as any trash goes. I don't blame the CMs as much as I have seen Lazy Guests who won't walk 10 steps to a trash can. There are a million trash cans. USE 'Em!!
