Just got back after spending 6 days in the parks with DH. Crowds were virtually non-existant in the morning but grew considerably after lunch. I tried something a bit different and split each park over two days, except for Animal Kingdom, which we toured in about 2/3 of a day.
This is what we did -
We began Sunday with breakfast in AK. After we did everything we wanted, we hopped over to MGM around 2:30 with the idea that we would check stuff out and do anything we could walk on. The next morning we went back to MGM and finished anything we didn't do the previous day. Then we hopped over to MK around 3 ish, doing dinner, SPectro and WIshes. We returned to MK the next morning to finish anything else, and so on through the week. I planned the week avoiding EMH and using UG to busy days and days to avoid. It worked like a charm!! DH was amazed. We literally walked on everything and didn't need to use a FastPass until Soarin' at Epcot. And that was only a 40 minute standby at 3:30 in the afternoon. In six days, we only need to use FastPass three times - Soarin, Test Track, and Stitch.

Oh, and by the way, I really hated Stitch!!!

I credit this board for helping to plan a most relaxing, non-stressful week. Thank you all so much!!

Thanks for sharing. Sounds like you had a great week! We leave on Thurs for the long weekend and I'm hoping for no crowds, but I think that is wishful thinking for a long holiday weekend!! We'll see! Thanks again!

Monday at MK was pretty crowded, with the Spectro parade and fireworks being that night, but the lines were only long for Splash Mountain and that darned Peter Pan ride. That was the busiest day of our entire trip. We arrived on the 16th, and that week was absolutely empty everywhere. On Saturday, the crowds picked up a bit, so this week seemed busier than last week, surprisingly. All of New Jersey seemed to have arrived on Saturday. Maybe it's the new Jersey week.

I thought the best method seemed to be to visit a park the day after their evening EMH's. A CM at Epcot said that seemed to be their least busy day. We also took advantage of the MK and Epcot late magic hours, because it was so hot during the day. My son and I were the last passengers on the Jungle Cruise one night and they let him "drive" the boat. It was a magical moment.
