Highs
Big Thunder Mountain - Even better than I remembered it; both me and mum loved the bits in the dark.
Disney Magic on Parade - I know this has had a few 'meh' reviews but we loved it! The music was so catchy (I bought the CD), the floats were beautiful and the dancers were super. A special shout out to the pirates who were the only ones I heard actually singing the songs.
Tarzan Encounter - This was excellent; it moved me to (happy) tears on some occasions. The acrobats were amazing and Tarzan was so ripped!
I also really liked the Trashin' The Camp scene.
RC Racer - I managed to get mum to go on this and although she was terrified, she loved it. Her reaction was priceless: terrified screaming followed by "oh no! I looked!".
Cafe Mickey - A huge
to this place. The waiters were brilliant, really attentive, the food was lovely: I had the carbonara and mum had the lasagne and apple pie. The characters were great! We saw Rabbit, Goofy, Minnie, Mickey and Pluto and all of them spent time taking a photo with me and then Goofy, Minnie and Pluto went and sat next to mum for a photo which she LOVED. Mickey was so patient: he had this cast member following him taking photos and then giving you a number (so you could buy it) and he stood in a pose with me for ages while the CM tried to get his camera working. Eventually he had to move on obviously, but that was fine. Minnie posed with us and then played about straightening my ears. On his second time round, Goofy told off a man near us for having his elbows on the table and them came and told me off for not eating up! I had great fun watching the characters interact with the kids, taking time to play and cuddle with them.
Saturdays and most of Sundays Weather - It was really good all day Saturday: blue skys, warm, shorts and t shirts weather really. Sunday started off ok, but around lunchtime it started to spit a bit and really started coming down so we splurged on ponchos.

The Character Scrums and General Rudeness - Although I was expecting them it really was ridiculous. I wouldn't have minded the pushing so much if it was little kids, because fair enough, its more important to them but come on! Fully grown adults?
In the end we gave up because I wasn't able to be pushy enough to get through. Also, the people there just don't seem to be able to say 'excuse me', they just push past you. For example, waiting for the Fantillusion Parade, we were standing (or sitting in my case) outside the popcor stand to the right of the castle and were pretty happy with the view we were going to have, the CMs making sure people kept the walkway clear and then they moved the rope to cross the pavement and the people dashed over there, practically sending me head first onto the concrete. And I was now stuck beding two very tall people.
Smoking - Again expected, but still disgusting. I lost count of the amount of times I got smoke blown in my face. Still, there was one time when a man was smoking in the RC Racer queue and the CM sent out a general message reminding people that they're not allowed to smoke in the queue area, then when he didn't get the hint sent a more pointed message telling him to put out his cigarette.
The 20th Anniversary CD - Not a big complaint, but I wasn't too happy to find that it only has the two versions of 'Magic Everywhere' on it. I was expecting (and hoping) that it would have the character train song on. Does anyone know when/if they are planning to release this?
All in all it was a fantastic trip and I would definitely do it again. Mum loved it too, but she would be reluctant to do the same coach trip because of the fact that everyone was too exhausted to really enjoy the Paris day. I'll be doing a proper TR soon, but I need to eat and shower first, lol.
