Just back from 9 wonderful days. I was solo for the first 2 days, then joined by family for the other 7 days. We ate most meals in our BWV room. But here are a few comments on where I/we ate out the rest of the time:
Columbia Harbor House at MK: Still one of my favorite counter service places. I had the Galley Garden Salad. It was excellent as always, and I was proud to be eating healthy for at least one meal.
Love the upstairs seating area to get away from the crowds.
Tubbi's at the Dolphin: Chicken salad sandwich and honeydew melon chunks. Really tasty! Loved the 20% DVC discount.
Liberty Inn at Epcot: Had the chicken caesar salad. Very good, and I'm glad I asked for the dressing on the side.
ABC Commissary at MGM: Most of us had the cheeseburger/fries basket. The burger was pretty good, but the fries were lousy. They were very mushy. My sister had the stir fry. She really liked it, but it was enormous. She could have easily split it with someone.
Chef Mickey's at Contemporary: Character dinner on NYE. The buffet was excellent, and we had lots of character interaction. My nieces (4 and 7) loved their whole experience here. My 13 YO nephew even found it pretty entertaining. We would gladly do this again.
CRT at MK: Character breakfast. We saw Cindy, Belle, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, Fairy Godmother, and Mary Poppins. Food was good and plentiful. Service was friendly enough, but we felt our server was rushing us. We were still eating, had only seen half the characters, and really had not been there that long, but the server came and told us that she needed us to settle the bill by the time she came back in a couple minutes.
Anyway, that was really not a major thing. We generally had a wonderful time, and my little nieces of course loved the princesses!
Questions? Let me know.
