Just got back in last night. We flew AirTran again, NS flight down on Wednesday, ROC to MCO. Flights there & back were ontime and the attendants seem to get more & more friendly the more we fly them. We opted for the business class upgrade for the NS flight down but stuck with coach since we had a connecting flight back--no sense in paying more for the upgrade than the tixs!
We rented thru Priceline again, got Alamo for $22/day for a full size car. When we got to the garage there was a line of white 4 door (Buicks or something like that) and 1 blue PT Cruiser. We opted for the Cruiser and it was really nice, very clean.
Bus transportation at CSR was really much better than I had anticipated. Considering the resort was really full due to a convention we waited about an average of 5 minutes for a bus at the resorts and again at the parks. The longest we waited was about 15-20 minutes as we had just missed a bus to MGM.
This was only our second time renting a car & we didn't use it much but when we did we made a big mistake. I-Drive on Saturday night coming back from the Belz outlet-BIG MISTAKE! We were stuck on I-Drive for over an hour--won't do that again.
Anyway-thanks to all who helped us plan for this trip--time to start planning for January!
One last thing---What is wrong with people on flights lately? I sat behind a woman who was holding a lap baby--must have been about 2 1/2 years old-couldn't tell if it was a boy or a girl as they were wearing girl's clothes but had a boy's haircut and the mom didn't speak english so I couldn't really make out the child's name. ANYWAY--the child coughed thru the entire flight, not only did the mom not try to cover the child's mouth-even once--she kept holding them on her lap-letting him hang over right in front of my face and kept coughing on me. I asked her to cover his mouth and she just kept saying "no english". I asked the FA to try to help & we were gesturing she should cover his mouth but she pretty much ignored us-pretty gross! The mom should have had more common sense!
