Just back from YC!! AMAZING TRIP!

just got back last night from a lovely 5 night 6day stay at the YC and it was simply AMAZINGG couldnt have asked for a better trip!! the parks were not crowded at all and the YC was awes0me..had a king size bed with a lagooon viewww!! it was awes0me .. saw illuminations right from the balcony. any questions just ask away .

Yeah, pictures of the room / resort would be cool if you have any. I've always loved the look and location of the place, but the $$$ have kept us away.

Glad you liked it. As you can see it's my favorite resort. We went for our first holiday trip this year. I have some pictures that I'll try to get loaded and post soon.

We are scheduled for a lagoon view and am wondering if you can give some more specifics. Does this mean you overlook a waterway between the Yacht and Beach clubs?

Glad you had such a nice trip. We tried YC for the first time in July and loved it. So much so that we are going back for the 4th of July!

Chiefplanner:Lagoon view looks out over Crescent Lake to The Boardwalk. It's really beautiful. The boats that go from MGM to Epcot and stop at the YC/BC, Boarkwalk and Swan and Dolphin can be seen going across the lake all day and in the evening. There's a marina where you can rent boats and take cruises right in front of the YC dock. At night The Boardwalk is all in lights and the view is not only beautiful but very relaxing.

Most of the rooms at the YC are in a U shape with the right side of the U being longer.

If you are in the lower part of the U, you will look out over the marina, boat dock, lake and over to the BW.

If you get a room if the long arm of the U, you get a view of the lagoon toward Epcot. I prefer these views, but the rooms are a "long" way from the elevators and lobby and some don't like the long haul to their rooms.
