Just back from West Virginia... I missed you guys!

Rachel and I left Tuesday morning and followed my parents down to their new house. Their house up here will be officially sold next Thursday and they'll be down in W.V. forever. The house in W.V. isn't new, my step-father grew up there and inherited it. We just moved down some of their fragile knick-knacks and some kitchen stuff. I might have to drive down again next Thursday with them and have Gene pick me up on Saturday.

I couldn't wait to get home! I couldn't stand one more minute of my step-father (I almost turned around and came home as soon as I got there!). He's such a bully, and now that I'm grown up I don't take that kind of crap anymore. I was more excited last night about coming home that I was about going to WDW - I only slept 2 hours! I don't know how or why my mother takes his crap, but she does.

So, do they pronounce it West Firginia there? Everyone I've ever met from that state pronounces it like that.

Sis, he's the biggest bully to my Mom, but she lets him. I'm too old for that crap!

Heather, we live in S.E. PA, between Philly and Lancaster (exit 23 on the PA turnpike). My parents are moving just south of Fairmont (which is just south of Morgantown) in a little town called Carolina. It used to be a coal mining town. The same man owned that town and the next town over and named them after his two daughters, Carolina and Ida May. It's about a 300 mile ride from here to there.
