Just back from WDW and guess what we did........

We are now official DVC members!!

On July 30th we bought 270 points at the BCV!!

Our sales person was VERY nice and explained that they were closing out the BCV right and about SSR opening up for sale. I told him I knew a lot about DVC already through a web site I visted-lol.

I'll post more tomorrow, we just got home this morning at 6am after driving all night and I'm so tired, I need sleep-lol.

Were you definitely planning to buy when you left home? What did they say about BCV availability? What use year did you get?

Did you stay at BCV on your trip? My wife and I bought 200 points there last August without ever seeing it (only the model at the Boardwalk). Then we added 100 more points when we made our first trip home this June. Congratulations and ENJOY!

Here's some more details- After we decided to buy it took awhile for them to get the papers together because they had so many people buying into that afternoon so our wonderful salesperson got us these special fast passes because of the wait!, we never even complained either, we were just so happy we were joining! They were little DVC cards and what they did was each one was good for 2 immediate FP at any ride. You walked up put the card in like you would your park ticket and it spit out a FP for that time, then you walked right on! They were incredible!! He gave us 1 card per person and they were good for 48 hours after being issued. Talk about getting spoiled!

Did you stay at BCV on your trip?

We stayed at the YC for 9 nights after we bought. We LOVED the location and I was so happy that we chose the BCV, that pool is unbelievable!

We were planning on buying 150 points and just doing the studios for a few years till we bought more points. But after taking the tour, as soon as he opened that 1 bedrooms door we were sold on buying more points-lol. We received a June use year and also used the MB program. When we bought they said they were in the process of closing out the BCV, they didn't give a time but A LOT of people were buying when we were there.
