Just back from the new Hilton Grand Vacation Club ( HGVC ) on I Drive!! Any ????

Hi. We just got back from the new HGVC. It was great, and beautiful. I have pics, but I don't have a website or anything to post them on. I'd be glad to email them, if anyone is interested. We won our stay through Skyauction for $360 for the week. It was well worth it. We could have just stayed at the hotel, b/c they had lots of activities each day. They had a deal for the kids to take a special behind the scene tour of Sea World for $25. There were also supervised trips to Wonder Works & Disney Quest. They had a treasure dive at the pool. My kids loved that. JUST TONS OF FUN!! If anyone has any questions, I'll try to answer them.

I do have a question but I do not know if you could answer it. I have been dying to try one of these hotel's. I think you are speaking about the one near Sea World, right? Well, I was wondering if they offered any specials for the new one on I drive near the Premium outlet mall. I have checked both hotelkingdom and hotels.com but still not offers. I am not a skyauction person. I do not understand it .
Next year is my expensive year (I get my annual passes so my rooms must cost less)so obviously I want inexpensive rooms but do not want to stay in flea bag hotels. Unfortunately, we have been spoiled by vistana villages, Marriott vista grande and Wyndham Palms Golf.

Also, do they make you pay to have a safe in your room? I thought I read that somewhere.

Boy am I stupid, your subject line says,"new one on I drive". So again I ask the question , do you know if they offer an timeshare tour rates?

Wow, you got a great deal! Was the $360 including the $195 taxes and fees that are automatic?

About the pool -- was there anything special about it? Slides, waterfalls, zero entry, etc.?

Yes, the $360 included all of the fees!! The pool was 4 ft all over, I believe. It was a huge pool. It has a waterfall, but no slide. I don't think it had zero entry. There were also two hot tub thingys. And an area that has the water that shoots up out of the ground, like at Toon Lagoon. Not sure what you call it.

You may want to check the website about specials. They offered to give us a tour while we were there, and we could get cheap tickets to Sea World. But, we passed....how much more of a tour do you need when you are staying there? I'm not sure why you don't want to do skyauction. We've used it the last two times, once at HGVC Sea World, & then the new one. Both times have been great. We weren't treated any differently than any other people.

It is not that I do not want to use sky auction I just do not understand it. If it is like e bay then I do not understand that really too. How do you know what you are getting? Do you go in and they post the date and you just keep bidding like E BaY? I know my son it good at getting in at the end on that site but I do not think I could do it. I am really not good when it comes to things that require patients.

So excited. Can you please email me the pics? and any other details? The seaworld thing and disneyquest sounds interesting.

Any other activites for kids? I have a 7 and 10 yr old boy and 16 yr old girl.
