Hi everyone,
We stayed one night at the Dolphin before our 7-day cruise last week. The Dolphin has a very unique design. Most of it is beautiful. The grounds are wonderful, and the location can't be beat. We had a wonderful view of Epcot from the 10th floor, and loved watching the fireworks from our window (we did not have a balcony). If you have not been there before, it is very close to the other Epcot resorts. Easy walking distance, or you can take the friendship launch boats to each one.
Some negative things we noticed:
*Some of the decor is down right TACKY!
*Parts of the hotel were worn out and shabby-looking.
*We saw stains on carpet in hallways, and also room service trays are left out for very long peiods of time. (Kind of yucky to see the same smelly tray whenever you are walking to or from your room).
Self parking is too far from building.
