Just back from Star Wars Cruise.....any questions?

Do you feel it was worth the 20% upcharge?

I'd disagree in that if you are a big Star Wars fan I thin kthe 20% was well worth it. But if you're not a huge Star Wars fan probably not. We absolutely loved it!!

The cruise Director was Darren. He was great. he dressed up as x wing fighter Luke on Star Wars day. very friendly and accommodating. The captain was Commodore Tom. One of the cast members in the stores told me they get in trouble if they call him captain Tom...It's Commodore Tom .... very funny, but he was serious.

The main cruise staff person I remember was Max..he seemed to be the director of the activities and entertainment team.

Having been a Naval Officer for 24 years, you definitely do not want to be demoted when people are addressing you. So there is nothing wrong with Commodore Tom wanting to be addressed appropriately, as he has earned his new rank in the DCL fleet.

I completely agree - as someone that booked AFTER the announcement. We paid more and have zero regrets. We were on the Feb. 6th sailing. I could see being disappointed if you are there for a regular cruise and only see the things taken away (like the pirates fireworks). However, and this may not be a popular opinion, I really dug the Star Wars fireworks. If I had to pick between pirate fireworks and star wars ones? Star Wars, all the way. I do love me some Star Wars.
