DH and I went, stayed at the Contemporary. He was in a conference till 6p each day. We arrived tues, he started class wed, we left sunday.I did the keys to the kingdom tour wed. The tour was great, I highly recommend it. It started at 815, ended up around 2p with a lunch break included at about 1130.
I thought I would be able to pal with some other solo, but everyone was coupled up, so it felt a little strange. still had a great time, but this was the only time the whole trip I felt a little uncomfortable.
Rest of the trip was great!! Had no trouble eating sit down lunch or tea alone, standing in lines was no problem!
the best part was simply doing just what I wanted to do. I'd sit and drink coffee and watch people and just relax!! Went to all the pools with my book, stay about an hour with a drink and snack , then off I'd go. Never went swimming....too cold for me. I belong to DVC, so no problem going to any of them. even without being in DVC, you could go get a drink and relax in the lobby.
Rode Everest...it was great!!! second time pretty quick after the first , got a little motion sick, i think it was a little too much for me.
all in all , had a great time and would go solo again in a heartbeat!!
