We arrived home about an hour ago from our trip to Orlando. We stayed three nights at WDW and two nights at Royal Pacific. We had a great time. We checked-in Tuesday about 11:30 a.m. I am Loews Gold, so I asked about an upgrade to a suite. The clerk told me she could give us a King Suite, but it would be a smoking room. Since none of us is allergic, we took it. I have stayed in a King Suite before, so I knew what to expect. We received a nice bottle of white wine and nuts and a New York Times. I also requested a late check out this morning and was give until 2:00 p.m.

We had a great visit to Universal. Beautiful weather, FOTL and a free upgrade to a suite - what more can you ask for?

If anyone has a questions, I will try to answer.

Sounds great !!! With Loew's Gold (I just got my card) were you already guaranteed an upgrade to a deluxe and then you asked about the suite at check in? When I called PBH they told me that I could book a std view and be automatically guaranteed a deluxe room - I was surprised that my conf even read 'deluxe'. Does the King Suite have a king and a pull out? We recently stayed in a kid's suite and it was very roomy - worked really well for us ! :smooth:

Yes, I booked at a standard view rate and was upgraded immediately to a waterview. Then, when I checked-in, I asked about an upgrade to a suite. At that point, I was offered the King Suite. The King Suite has a living room with a sleeper sofa and a bedroom with a king size bed. It was very nice.
