My DW and I just returned from our first stay at a moderate resort and I was really impressed! We had only stayed at monorail resorts in the past and now I question why I spent all that extra money!
We were in the Acadian House, extremely close to the North Bus Depot. We had requested a King Bed Room and received one.
I was really worried about bus transportation and it turned out not to be so bad. We did have to stand most of the time, and the busses were crowded, but we did not have to wait long at all. Even with large lines at park closing we were able to get on by the 2nd bus. One caveat I would mention is that we do not have kids and I may have a different perception of the bus transportation if that was so.
We were also on the dinning plan and ate almost $1000 worth of food for only $490. Sometimes it felt sinful, especially towards the end of the trip when we could literaly not eat another bite.
I would be happy to answer any questions about the room, dinning plan, parks, etc...
