We just arrived here in Europe this am so please forgive any typos!
We stayed at the RPR from Oct 8-13. It was very clean and is a very nice resort. Universal has its good and bad points. I am not crazy about CityWalk.
Poly; we checked in early with a lovely CM and were given GV in Tokelau. I did not expect to get into the room at 11:00 am, but yes, it was ready. Now, coming from a similar themed resort, I can see why some people question the "value" of the Poly. I found the musty smells seemed to come from outside the building. The room was in ok shape, no more, but is was nice a big room. I agree the TV is not up to par at a deluxe resort. It was just clean, nothing more and I even found toenails on the bathroom floor. I thought the pools were nice and due to our location had no problems with the noise.
I feel sorry for the poster who spoke of all the problems she had with her room. There seems to be communication problems at the Poly.
To us, it seemed like a 3 Trident Club Med. I liked some parts of it but not all of it. Would I go again?? Probably not, I think I would try the WL.
When I am not so tired I will write about our dining experiences ...
