They had an extra 40% off already marked down stuff.

We got the Giselle wall stick ups for $10 something, and the nightgown and housecoat were $17 something each, and the Barbie was $7 something.

They also had some new clothes and such in that were nice. And the new Snow White lawn things are soooooo cute!!!!

thats good, i went last night and there was not that sale on, some odds and ends but nothing special. Did you ask about the store change to Disney? I asked my location but the girls said they have not been told a thing :guilty:

that our store is safe.

She didn't know much more, but doesn't think they will renovate.

Our store has quite a few of the things you see on Disney.com. And I don't find their prices that bad for most things. It is Disney after all!! People shouldn't expect Disney things to be cheap. It isn't Wal-Mart for goodness sake!

I did find some of the Giselle things a bit overpriced before they went on sale, but they are certainly in my price range now!!

Usually if there is something I like and they only have a few than I will pay full price for it. But if I am not sure about it or they have lots than I will wait for it to go on sale. I try to do my part for purchasing things at the store or else eventually it will close. It is a unique store and I like having it here, I would hate to see it close. It is my little piece of magic in a scary world when I can't get to the big magic!

This weekend we also got good deals at our Disney Store. DH got 5 shirts (1 long sleeve button down, 2 gold shirts, and 2 tshirts) for $52.00 ! that's less than $10 a shirt plus some tax! WOW! usually he has no luck, but this time they were all 40% off the lowest ticketed price, and in his size!

I had no luck for me, but was able to get a cute outfit, skirt and cardigan for DD in anticipation for her tea party!

I agree that the Disney Store gives me my little piece of magic between trips!

I was at ours early week hoping for the beach towels 1/2 price. No luck yet...I remember getting them long before summer last year..

I just wanted to give you all a little update on the Disney Store situation. As of tomorrow we are officially DISNEY EMPLOYEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1:

We are all hoping that this will bring back the magic to the stores that there once was. Nothing makes me happier than when a guest tells me that "we are their little dose of Disney magic until their next trip".

Just a reminder though, until May 6th all the Disney Stores in Canada will onky be able to except Cash due to system upgrades (unless they were able to find a way around it) I'll find out more when I go in this afternoon.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Does this mean all Canadian Disney Stores are changing over to being owned by Disney again? (I'm specifically wondering about the Toronto Eaton Centre one)

Hi. I was to the one in the Bass Pro Shop Mall. I picked up two packs of Disney silverware. 40% off the all ready discount. Reg. I would of paid $88.00. I paid $33.00 but I had a $25.00 gift card. So only $8.00 was out of my pocket.

Yes, all Disney Store in North America will be taken over by Disney again but by July 25th over 100 stores will be closing. There is a Disney Stores in Canada that are on the list to close but right now, there is nothing final. One store that will not be part of Disney is Heartland.
