JUST RETURNED FROM THE MAGIC WESTERN 7 DAY CRUISE 6/19-6/25...ANY QUESTIONS I'LL BE HAPPY TO ANSWER BEST I CAN!!!

I am getting ready to set sail on the Magic this Saturday (7/3) I can't wait! OK, I have a couple of questions for ya....
What were the movies that were playing on board?
Who was the Caberet/Comedy act? Was it Gary Delana ?
Where does the ship dock at key West? Can we just get off the boat and walk around - especially can we walk to Mallory Square?

THE BIG MOVIE PLAYING IS AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS.THERE WERE SOME OTHERS...CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE DRAMA QUEEN...I CAN'T SAY I PAID TOO MUCH ATTENTION TO MOVIES...SO MUCH ELSE TO DO!!!
I DO BELIEVE THAT GARY WAS THE COMIC'S NAME...HOWEVER WHEN WE GOT TO CAYMEN I SAW HIM GETTING OFF THE SHIP WITH A BIG SUITCASE.. DON'T KNOW WHEN HE WAS GETTING BACK ON.
KEY WEST....YES MALLORY SQUARE IS ABOUT A 7 MIN. WALK FROM THE DOCK...& YES IT PULLS RIGHT UP TO THE DOCK.
HOPE THIS HELPS...IM KINDA BETTER AT ANSWERING QUESTIONS THAN DOING A FULL TRIP REPORT...SO MUCH TO SAY...PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK AWAY!!!!
ONE THING I WOULD LIKE TO ADD ...IF YOU HAPPEN TO GO TO THE BAR AT THE ADULT POOL (SIGNALS) THE BARTENDER MARK IS GREAT!!!SO NICE & FRIENDLY...IF YOU GO TELL HIM HIS BAHAMA MAMA FRIEND FROM PHILLY SAYS HI!!! & I WAS TALKING NICE ABOUT HIM

Have you done the Eastern, too? If so, did you like Eastern or Western better? Did you do any excursions? Which ones did you really like? How was Palo - did you try the High Tea? What was your favorite port?

THE BUGS WERE AWFUL!!!! EVEN WITH SPRAY!!!!
THIS WAS MY 1ST CRUISE....NO EASTERN YET. I DIDNOT DO PALO'S...SORRY I HAVE NO INFO ON THAT, OTHER THAN TO SAY IT WAS PRETTY.

....PS believe me, I will be at the bar at the quiet cove pool! and, the Bahama Mama's are right up there with my favorite drink, the Bon Voyage --which is the pina colada/strawberry dacquiri combo....YUM!

Hi, we're going on the 7/17 western with a handicapped individual. Do you know if the tender boats that go to Grand Cayman are big enough for a large wheelchair to go on. Our friend cannot transfer out of his chair and he would love to the see the island.

I have stupid ? is food include in the price of the cruise or do need a separate budget for food.

I planning stages of planning my first cruise and I know nothing.

Do you happen to know if any of the tender boats are wheelchair accessible? We are going on the July 17th Western & are traveling with a friend who uses a large power wheelchair. Thanks for any info. Cathie

HELLO AGAIN,
THIS IS FUN...KEEPING THE TRIP ALIVE FOR ME!!!!
THE EXCURSIONS I DID WERE....KEY WEST TROLLY TOUR...IT WAS NICE THE GUIDE WAS GOOD POINTED OUT LOTS OF HISTORY. WE ONLY GOT OFF AT THE SOUTHERNMOST POINT TO TAKE A PIC. THEN ON OUR OWN HIT DUVAL ST. FOR SHOPPING & SPIRITS GRANDCAYMAN...ISLAND TOUR & STINGRAY CITY....BY FAR MY FAVE TRIP. THE ISLAND TOUR TOOK US TO THE TURTLE FARM...HELL...THEN OFF TO STINGRAY CITY. IT WAS AWSOME ENJOYED THIS TOUR BEST OF ALL. COZUMEL ....COZUMEL RUINS & BEACH......THE RUINS WERE OK NOT BIG...TONS OF BUGS....THE BEACH WAS GREAT...NOT ENOUGH TIME THERE. SINCE WE WERE THERE UNTIL 1AM WE WENT TO CARLOS & CHARLIES HAD A BALL!!!!ON CASTAWAY...JUST RELAXED...SNORKLED...THATS IT!

RE FOOD....YES FOOD ON THE SHIP IS INCLUDED...HOWEVER KEEP IN THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD THAT THERE ARE 3 PEOPLE FOR DINNING TO TIP AT THE END OF THE WEEK!!! HEAD SERVER,SERVER,&ASSISTANT SERVER...THEM PLUS HOUSEKEEPING FOR 4 OF US IN 1 STATEROOM THE APPROPIATE TIPS CAME TO ABOUT $300.00 FOR THE WEEK.

RE:WHEELCHAIRS...I DID SEE PEOPLE IN WHEELCHAIRS ON THE CRUISE....I WOULD SAY THE TENDER IS BIG ENOUGH...BUT IT WOULDN'T HURT TO CHECK WITH DISNY BEFORE HAND.
I HOPE I DIDN'T FORGET ANYONE...PLEASE JUST ASK AGAIN IF I DID...BYE FOR NOW

On formal and semi formal nights ... how amny people got dressed up as opposed to how many that didn't do anything different? Did anyone come in totally inappropriate dress?

HMMM...LET ME SAY THERE WAS QUITE A MIX OF DRESS FOR FORMAL/SEMI FORMAL NIGHTS. I SAW MANY TUX'S....LONG GOWNS...SHORT DRESSES...SOME WITH DRESS SHIRTS & TIE,BUT NO JACKET...REALLY A WHOLE ARAY OF DRESS...I DONOT RECALL SEEING ANYONE IN VERY CASUAL CLOTHES THAT NIGHT, WHO WERE IN THE RESTURANTS. HOWEVER THERE ARE THOSE WHO CHOSE TO SKIP THE WHOLE THING ...HANG AT THE POOL & HAVE A SLICE OF PIZZA.IT'S REALLY A WHOLE MIX OF WHAT YOU COULD IMAGINE.
