We just got back yesterday. We stayed ay the Howard Johnson Main gate eat. It was very cheap. I had been very worried about it but it turned out to be ok. It wasn't anything fancy but is fine with us. We spent all day at the parks anyway. we just needed a clean bed and a hot shower and this place did well. We had an upgrade so we had a microwave and fridge. It was worth it for breakfast. We only had a chance to go in the pools once but they were nice and warm both the kiddy one and big one. If you want someplace just 10-15 minutes from WDW and don't need the fancy stuff this is a good pick for a small budget.

We stayed there about 6 years ago and thought the same thing. Glad to hear its still decent.

Did you use their shuttle or have a car rental? Is there a restaurant at the hotel? The price is unbelievable, which makes me nervous. Was there activities near the hotel to do? Thanks for any help you can offer!

The hotel is located on a busy part of 192 so there are restaurants, stores etc. all nearby. When we stayed there you got free kids meals at the Ihop next door which if they still do that helps alot.

Dont know about shuttle but we always get a car rental when staying offsite.

Old Town is nearby and is a fun place with cute little stores and some amusement part type rides, bungee jumping etc.
