Just Back From HHI

We just arrived home from HHI and stayed in the Lodge (1 bedroom). We requested a marsh view and received a room with a view of the barbeque! The resort was only 42% full and when we arrived (early) they said a marsh view would be available. Around 2:30 pm we received a phone call that our room was available, but when we arrived around 3:30 they were still cleaning it. Two of the nights people had parties until around 12:00 to 12:30. I would suggest that if you are going to visit this resort, do not reserve 1121 or 1221 if possible. Other than that, the weather was great and we enjoyed ourselves (will return next year).

Are #1121 and #1221 the BBQ view 1 BR? If not, which room did you have? We also requested a 1 BR marsh view last year but didn't get it-didn't get the BBQ view though either.

what kind of view did you get? we are planning a trip in 2005.

Allison:

Don't worry about your view. The HH resort is gorgeous, and IMHO there are no "bad"views. If you do get a "BBQ view", just know that there are beautiful trees, shrubs and marsh beyond the terrace with the BBQ.
