We just got back from free dining staying at All Star Family Suites. I would be happy to answer questions if anyone has them. ( I am not a good writer so I won't do a trip report) we also spent 2 nights at the Nick Hotel.

Nancy ( who is suffering post vacation let down)

We did have a great time. Crowds were not to bad . We avoided the parks that had Magic hours as the tend to be busy. We didn't try to do everything as the wasn't our first trip and it won't be our last. The average stand by wait time was 20-30 minutes . I think the longest line I saw was 50 minutes for Soaring, Test Track and Splash Mountain.
The resturants where very busy and if you hadn't made PSR you where out of luck for the most part. Although we did get a last minute for Olivia's Cafe when we missed our Trails End PSR

It would be neat if you could list the sit downs you experienced and rank them 1st to last......our favbourites onthe DDP were 1900 Park Fare for dinner and Capt'n Jacks for dinner.

Overall though, we found it was too much food - but ours wasn't given for free! I hear that drinks and gratuities aren't included anymore?

Well we where onsite for 5 days ( 2 days at Nick Hotel)
heres where we eat : Olivias Cafe, Hollywood and Vine ( breakfast), 1900 Park Fare , Garden Grille and Boma

My faves in order are : Garden Grille ( this was a late lunch and I really enjoyed it) , Boma ( really different then I am used to but good except for long buffet lines), Hollywood and Vine ( I was really hungry and enjoyed this except fopr the noise factor, so many kids excited to see characters0
Olivias Cafe ( all around good food and service)
1900 Park Faire ( now I must say I am not sure why this is my least fave. , I think it was because the kids where over tried and hot from a full day at MK. The food was good but our experience was so so)

No alcholic drinks ie juice, pop or coffee are included the places we went did not included milkshakes for the kids.

Tips are not included either and if you are a party of 6 or more you are given a bill for 18%

Hi Nancy!
Sounds like a wonderful vacation, thanks for sharing your experiences!!

Take care,

If you have stayed in 2 connecting rooms, could you compare the 2 vs the suite? I'm still trying to decide between the 2 for next year.

I have stayed in connecting room at Pop Century. Size wise it is about the same. But I found the pull outs at the Family Suites uncomfortable. It was nice to have a fridge, mircowave and coffeemaker but we where on the dining plan so we didn use that much. I would stay there again if i didn't have to sleep on a pull out ( another adult in our party had the bedrrom with the queen bed)
