Here are the places we ate with a brief review of each, and then some overall comments at the end. Feel free to ask any additional questions.
UK fish and chips - delicious fish and fries..went here twice. Only complaint is that there's no good dessert option.
CS at Sunshine SEasons (epcot)...excellent food, HIghly suggest. BEst CS in Epcot if you ask me. And the desserts were spectatular. A must do!!
Tutto Italiano - Very good food, awesome service (probably the top or second best anywhere we ate service wise). Had lobster ravioli. Small portions, but great food. Kids meal was excellend too. Seated right on time.
Will def. Go back again.
Liberty Tree Tavern - lunch. Awesome experience. Sweet server....decent service. We thought the tri corner sandwhich and tavern cheese and clam chowder were awesome. Had the best dessert of the entire week here - the ooey gooey toffee cake. Amazing!! Will def go back for lunch next time.
Kona - dinner. Teryiaki steak delicious. Lapu Lapu expensive but good. Excellent banana creme brulee. Bread is the best we ate all week...by far. Food fabulous...long wait, but we missed our ADR and came very late. Service not very good though. But woiuld definitely go back!
Starring rolls (DHS) - excellent CS meal...great sandwhiches, excellent dessert (butterfinger cupcake, peanut butter cupcake, choc croissant, choc eclair...all excellent). Would go back again for sure
Cape May Cafe - dinner. Excellent Buffet. MOst enjoyable dinner of the trip. Crab legs were awesome. Great desserts. Good mac and cheese. Only complaint - drawn butter is disgusting. I don't like clams without butter so I didn't get to eat any. They really need to do something about that butter. Would definitely go back again....and almost did on this trip.
Ohana Breakfast - blahhhhh. Hated it. Food was cliche...characters not very involved. Had to wait for STitch forever...just sitting there finished with breakfast, waiting for him to come. Will def. not go back for this meal.
1900 Park Faire - dinner. I actually thought the food here was awesome and so did everyone else in our party (8 of us). Great mashed potatoes, delicious strawberry soup, prime rib carved on the spot, delicious salmon, and amazing ceasar salad. Unfortunately, the talk of this place is the behaviour of the stepsisters and they LITERALLY did nothing while we were there. Not one thing to be silly or act up or anything. I was sooo disappointed. But the food was very good, despite what many people report. Id go back for sure, but hopefully the next time we will have better entertainment.
Wolfgang Puck Express - DTS - Cs lunch....absolutely amazing. Went back twice. Best CS option anywhere..no doubt. We had the mac and cheese, ceasar salad, creme brulee, meatball parm pizza, and several different sandwhiches. It was all amazing. A must do now!!
TRex - flatbread pizza was great...otherwise, this is a once and done for us. NOthing spectacular, in fact, I sent my RAW hamburger back to the kitchen. Not bad, just no need to go back.
Tusker House - BF - was good...some different choices for breakfast, which was nice. Ham was delicious. Unfortunately someone had thrown up all over the front door to the place and on the floor both inside the door and outside, which kind of ruined my appetitie. Probably won't go back. NOt because it wasn't good, but becasue I've decided that breakfast is not a necessity for us on vacay and its also not a good way to maximize dining credits.
CS lunch in AK was Yak and Yeti and it was disgusting. Enough said. wont' go back.
Ohana Dinner - OH my God!!! This was an awesome meal. The food was so amazing. Probably the best variety anywhere we ate. But I was so full I truly felt sick for the next 24 hours. Everything was delicious there...no complaints at all!! Def go back for us.
Had ressies at CP, but skipped and just did CS at Columbia Harbor House in MK. Shrimp was very good. Apple crisp was good dessert option too.
CS at Epcot - did UK fish and chips again...delicious. DH did Yakitori House...absolutely disgusting....never again. Then we left to walk to Beaches and Cream but couldn't get in so we went to Boardwalk Bakery. It was awesome!! Delicious tuna sandwhich and the most amazing dessets anywhere. Cream cheese brownie was awesome. Mickey cake was a great choice for the kids. Mousse cake delicous too. Will go back next time for sure.
Dinner - LeCellier - best service all week. Our server, Lyndsay, was awesome...beyond awesome. We loved her and tipped her about 25%..that's how good she was. Fillet was delicious. Probably not quite as good as when I had it last year, but its a great meal and we will continue to try to get ressies here each time we go to WDW. Choc mousse delicious.
Back to DTD again and Wolfgang PUck express....delicous as always. I wish I could go today for lunch.
Dinner at Capt. Jacks. Nothing fancy about the place, but the crab cakes were out of this world. They were excellent. I had the crab over pasta alfredo, which was also very good...lots of crab, but not nearly as good as the crab cakes. Cheesecake dessert was good. We'd go back if we had a credit to use, but probably not just because there's other things we want to try.
Other thoughts:
Best snacks: fudge at DTD, popcorn, premium mickey ice cream bar, dole whip, dessets at Sunshine seasons in Epcot, Dessets at FRance and Norway bakery, ice cream at Mrs. Potts in MK, soft pretzels in Germany. There's more, but these are the ones I remember most.
STayed at POFQ. didn't eat at the foodcourt there one time. Did get the beignets as a snack and wasn't all that impressed. I like funnel cake better.
Tried the gray goose slushie in France at Epcot...not for me. I didn't like it.
Overall, service at WDW has gone down for sure. WE didn't really have any rude service, just some very rushed and many who were just "doing their job." Nothing extra, nothing particularly magical or out of the way. Not as happy a place as it used to be, but we had a great time and made our own fun, which is what its all about anyway.
The dining plan for us is a great deal, but be prepared to spend a good amount of money on tipping. We spent on average 15 - 20 per TS meal on a tip. That got very expensive, considering dining is "free."
Any questions, feel free to ask. Some day when my kids are older maybe I will be able to add pictures to my reviews, but with young kids, its all we can do to get them their food, keep them seated, and try to have a peaceful meal!
