Just back from a WDW trip, May 15-27. BWV was great! There is construction going on around 3/4 of the main pool. The pool is open but there is alot of construction going on, it is all behind mesh type coverings and the workers work weekdays from about 9-5. Many people were using the main pool and all its amenitites. I had a perferred view booked and for the first time received a quiet pool view. At first I was disappointed, but we LOVED it. The quiet pool and the community hall were a very short walk from a staircase that took us directily to the quiet pool. It was never crowded, we had a nice view of the waterway leading to MGM, there is a very nice hot tub and if you wanted something from the Main Pool bar or a boardwalk vendor/store they were both right around the corners. We checked in at 12:00 and our villas was ready. Everything was immaculate and the CMs could not have been nicer. We saw various entertainment on the boardwalk at night and 5/23-5/25 there was a special event for Discovery that had a live dj, games, prizes and booths set up with different games and info. We ate in many places but along the Epcot resort area we ate at: Flying Fish dinner which was excellent as usual, Crews Cup Lounge in YC for lunch which was also excellent and not crowded after a long morning in the parks. Boardwalk Bakery for breakfast treats and desserts also excellent and Seashore Sweetshop for ice cream which was again excellent. From Spoodles take out we had: pizza, which was horrible!!, meatball subs and calzones which were ok
This my second trip to BWV since 9/11 and everything was wonderful and as usual other than the guest services desk in the lobby not being open. If you have any questions just ask!

Glad that you had a great time! We love the view of the quiet pool too. We actually prefer it over a BW view.

Glad you had a good trip. Thanks for the report.

I agree on the pizza from Spoodles, not real good at all. You're better eating a dozen doughnuts at the bakery.

OMG...too funny....yes, donuts from the bakery are much tastier than pizza from Spoodles. Next time we want pizza at WDW I think I'm going to try ordering PapaJohns! Or any real pizza place.... Or make it myself...

Actually the Spoodles pizza wasn't actually repulsive or inedible....but it wasn't good either. Just kind of yuck.

hi we were there from the 18- 25 of may. the weather was great and the boardwalk was hopping. did not mind the construction at the main pool. our villa was also ready at noon. loved it!!!!!
