We were at BWV in 5066, a dedicated studio overlooking Luna Park. Due to the tree growth, we couldn't clearly see the pool slide, but had a view of the canal and Swan. I measured the day bed -- thanks to sewing kit I brought down for the Owner's Locker, and can say with authority the mattress is 24" by 60" for those who wish to know. It held our purchases nicely ;) The room was very clean, equipped with all a studio is supposed to hold. And now my Owner's Locker is officially full to the gills -- I even forgot to return a few items and hope I can tetris them in next time.

Had a good time sampling the food booths, enjoyed the cooks and vintners at Taste of Victoria, good food at PFTS, and especially enjoyed Emily Luchetti and her lemon tart, apple bread pudding, and chocolate cheesecake at Sweet Sundays. Who knew I couldn't eat 3 desserts?

Only bummer was the night temp on our return to CT -- either 29 or 31 degrees depending on which bank thermometer was more accurate.

It sounds like a wonderful F&W trip! We also found the deacon bench the perfect place to put our purchases!

I also used the guest laundry at BWV. There are now 3 large capacity LG washers and 2 dryers. The washers are HE, and even "sense" the load. The wash takes substantially longer -- for us it was 55 minutes on permanent press and 1 hour 8 minutes on regular. You could opt for various drying options.

A maintenance man came in to empty the lint traps in the dryer and he said the new washers and dryers required much less maintenance than the old ones. He also said Disney got good prices buying in bulk. Our maintenance fees at work?

The washers have a "speed wash" (or something close) setting. It takes a LOT less time and still gets stuff clean. I was finished with a wash and dry - medium load - in a little over an hour.

Just for a frame of reference, I have an HE washer at home and it also takes about 55 minutes to wash a load.

I wonder if all DVC resorts will eventually switch to HE washers? If so, I guess that I will need to change the detergent in my Owner's locker.

Where are the washer/dryers located? We will have a BW view studio in May post a cruise...will definitely be washing!

Down the elevators to the first level, go to the hall on the right, and the laundry room is there, on the left side.
