Hi.....we just returned from 11 nights in a BWV 2BR Std View. I had wondered if we'd get switched to Pref View since so much is still being renovated, but we did seem to have received Std View....Room 2127/2125 which overlooked the pond at the parking lot end. We had requested 'close to the bus stop' though, and we definitely got that.....we were right near the stairs leading to the door/sidewalk at the end of the building. It was so close to everything that for the first time, I agreed with DH that it really was just as fast to self-park. It was amazingly quiet.....I never heard anyone else in the hallway the entire 11 nights. I'm not sure if occupancy was low or if it just seemed quiet because half of the rooms in our hallway were out of commission. They were taking down some of the highest scaffolding when we were there though, so they seem to be making progress. As we were walking out, they had cabinet-size boxes outside the door of each of the standard size rooms.....I couldn't figure out what had come in those boxes that was being replaced though.

Crowds at the parks were manageable.....definitely much better the week of June 9 than the week of June 16 though! What a difference a week makes. We did MK on Tuesday each week, and the crowds were much heavier the second week.

Had a great time!

Glad all worked out well. Did you have problem finding enough parking?

We saw the renovation while we were there in May. Any idea when they will complete the work?

I hope it is larger TVs! LOL! I have noticed the past few years all the WDW resorts are going with much smaller tvs, what is up with that? Not that we spend a lot of time watching TV while at WDW, but it is still on at least once everyday while we are in our room and a little larger TV screen would be nice.
