It was our first stay there. We had a 2 bedroom lake view and my sister had a 2 bedroom MK view for her family. I have to say that I thought my view was much better than hers. But to each his own, I guess. We enjoyed the fireworks at the TOWL one night. But my grand kids ADORED the Electrical Water Parade! By the end of the week they had the sequence of characters and songs memorized.

I had heard the rooms were a bit worn at BLT and found this to be true. Nothing was badly damaged. Just a bit worn on the corners of cushions and that sort of thing. Everything worked fine and we found nothing missing. One of the blow driers bit the dust on day 2 but it was replaced within an hour of our call. No complaints at all with services. DH and I loved the mb shower! I want one like that at home! About the only thing I really disliked was how dim the lighting was, especially in the bathroom.

We enjoyed the pool. All the children in our group spent a good bit of time there. We also used the grilling area near the pool.

DH had to work a little during our trip and had some trouble with wifi not connecting properly with his laptop. It seems that their wifi doesn't play well with Vista. He ended up going down to the lobby where he was able to connect. We had no problems with wifi on iPads or iPhones. Just the laptop. It was slow during afternoons and evenings though.

All in all, we liked BLT and would stay there again. It isn't my favorite but it definitely has some big pluses. It was really nice to just have a short walk back to our resort after Wishes our last night! We found it to be comfortable but we prefer a different feel. I guess the modern look just isn't my taste.

Glad you had a good time.

There were some system-wide Wi-Fi issues (a DHCP server wasn't working properly) that affected only the resorts and NOT the business centers in the resorts. I think it was on Thursday. It started early in the morning and it was crap all day until about nightfall when they apparently finally got it fixed. Worked fine after that. Slow, but OK and usable for the most part.

We also just returned from BLT. It is still one of our favorites. We are happy to report our room was in good condition. And to top it off, it was a "standard" view, but we could watch Wishes from our balcony. We just hope it stays in good repair... taking all the grandparents there in October and want it to be an impressive trip! Happy Travels!

I'm glad you had such a nice stay at BLT! I enjoy the EWP too, especially when I can view it from the room. I've a BLT stay coming up with DH & DGS in August. I feel lucky to get a standard view room at 7 months!:goodvibes. DGS really enjoys the community room there.

We too just returned and had a great stay. First time we have noticed the rooms looking worn, but like OP said, just normal wear and tear. Can't expect everything to be showroom perfect with that many guests coming and going. Our grandkids also loved the water pageant parade, just wish it didn't come by our room at 10:30 each night (we faced the bay and marina)!! Agree that the lighting is the worst feature at BLT - I take my magnifying mirror with suction cups and attach it to the sliding door in the bedroom so I can see to do my makeup.

We had requested an even numbered room (we had lake view) and hoped to score a view of MK, but instead we were the very end room on the Contemporary end. And it actually turned out to be perfect - very quiet, and we had a great view of the marina, bay, and Contemporary. Kids loved it!

Just curious..... Was there a fee for the wifi in your room? Or was it free?
