Just back from a quick weekend trip...little recap

Just thought I'd share a bit...

We arrived to DCA at noon on Friday and it was pretty busy. Busier than I expected. We grabbed the last two FP for RSR and the return time was 930-10pm!

We ate lunch at Pacific Wharf Cafe then rode Toy Story. Screaming was down, so we went on Little Mermaid, Mater then Tower. We got Soarin FP at 2pm and the return time was for 805-905pm! So yea the park was pretty busy!



My niece couldn't wait for 930 to ride RSR so we waited 90 minutes in Stand By to ride!

Had dinner at Cove bar and let me just say this is our new favorite place! The lobster nachos were AMAZING!!! And the Mickey Fun Wheel was so tasty! We will now be eating here every time!





We finally got on Screaming after dinner, then did Soarin & RSR.

It was a fun day!

Saturday we went to DL. Got there right at 8, went to Starbucks then headed to HyperSpace. Got a return time for 30 minutes so we went on Star Tours, then did Hyper. Man that ride was cool! They did an awesome job on it! We then did Buzz, Matterhorn and tea cups.



We got a return time for Indy and then rode Pirates. Return time was up so we rode Indy. Got a return time for HM and rode Pooh and got a treat at Pooh Corner. Rode HM.

We went to DTD for a bit and shopped and had lunch at Earl of Sandwich. Their mac and cheese is soooo good!

Went back to DL and met Tianna on the Mark Twain, rode Thunder, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, met some Princesses, had dinner at Cafe Orleans, Indy again, Thunder again and Star Tours again. Grabbed an awesome spot for the 10pm PTN parade and then ended the night with Hyperspace.





Another great day!

Sunday we got to DCA at 9, had Starbucks, rode Tower and Soarin. At 1130 we had lunch at Carnation Cafe in DL and rode Thunder and Hyperspace before heading home. It was cold and rainy! We got super drenched on Thunder but laughed the whole time and had so much fun. As we were walking back to our hotel to leave it started pouring! It was so funny! We got soaked.

What a fun, quick weekend we had!!!

We did!

I thought they did. We got some on almost every chip. There were delicious! We practiacally licked the bowl they were in! My niece just kept saying how delicious they were! LOL

I wish they had a cheaper non lobster option.

what were the streets like with puddles?....saw all the rain on PGA and trees weaving from HOJO....as an el nino event How many more hours could you have endured if clothed properly?

I can't remember the price but when we were there last we were able to get them without the lobster I also heard you can get them with either chicken or beef, you just have to ask your server.

In the parks? There weren't many. They probably have a good drainage system.

We were leaving at 2 regardless, but lots of people were in full on rain gear and having a blast. If we had been staying all day, we would have brought better rain gear.

Yes, just not at the bar. My niece is 16 and about 2 parties of two behind us in line got in before us as we had to wait for a regular table! There is no kids menu and there are only about 5 or 6 things on the menu.

LOVE the Cove Bar. We eat there every time (DD7 has been eating there since she was 4) and the lobster nachos are probably my favorite thing in the park. So glad they have expanded so the wait isn't as long anymore!

We got in line at 630 on a Friday and she said it would be an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes and it was 25! Lol

That was first thing in the morning on an mm day. The line was 40 minutes. I use an ECV and they give you a return time 10 minutes less than the wait time although you end up waiting another 10 or so so it's pretty much the same. That night we went over there at 8 and the return time was 1005!
