Welcome Back.

Do you eat at any of the SOG restaurants? If so, how were they?
Also, did you shop at the AAFES store? Is the shop open yet that sells SOG merchandise (hats, tshirts, etc.)?

Sorry for the questions. I'm glad you had a great time.

Thank you in advance.

Debbie

Hi

Glad you had a nice trip! We can't wait to go! Just a couple questions.....

Did you walk to the Poly for the monorail? If so, how was the walk?

Did the busses run smoothly?

Thanks for any info:wave:

Lisa

Lisa hi! we did walk to the poly to and from the monorail. it's about 10minutes give or take. but if you go during the day, there usually a guy driving back and forth from the resort to the end of their property with a golf cart, who will give you a lift. we never saw them running at night. after the night shows the lines at the resort monorails were shorter than the others, so we would hop on that and take us to the poly. it is kinda long after a lond day, but youd waste that time waiting in lines for a monorail to the tc, and then another for a bus to sog. the buses at sog were always on time, usually every 15min or so. never had a problem on them or getting a seat., even from the tc.

Thanks for the info!

Another ???- Is there anywhere at the resort you would recommend location wise for rooms? We dont usually do pools, so dont care about that, mainly, location to busses and food! Is the new section closer than the old? Or are they all pretty accessible?

Thanks again- I want to go NOW!!!

Lisa

Glad to hear that you had a good time!

I have a few questions:

1. How was the staff? Were they just as friendly as other Disney resorts? Were they helpful?

2. How was your room? Did you stay in the new or old section? I've read some comments that the older section isn't really as nice as the new. Just curious.

3. I know that the pools aren't as flashy as the Disney Resorts, but are they still pretty good? We'll be going in December, so I highly doubt we'd be spending too much time in the pool. Are they heated?

Hi

I know you went without kids, but when you
were at Evergreens for dinner did you happen
to notice if they had any 'kid friendly' food?
(ie chicken fingers, french fries etc..) My son
is really picky & I'm hoping they'll have something
he will eat!!

Thanks:
Laurie

yes the staff was wonderful.. everything we asked them they were more than helpful. we stayed in the old section.. can't compare to the new because we really didn;t see it but where we were was beautiful.. the room was better than i expected. noyesl... if i remember sorrectly they had hot dos mac and cheese and chicken fingers.

We are headed to SOG on 5/31/05 for 8 nights to celebrate my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. Are there any pics of the rooms old or new? Is the new section farther away from the main lobby? Can you rent scooters there as one of our group has moblility trouble?
