Too much gushing if I were to just sit down and spill it all out. So just let me list some highlights, and a couple of minor disappoinments.

* BCV is an awesome place! We stayed in a studio (540), nightly views of Illuminations were terrific.

* Very short walk to International Gateway!

* Stormalong Bay was a huge hit with both my kids, and myself! Even in the overcast and occasional rain!

* Doorman at the villas. Art (?), made my family feel very special each and everytime we walked through the main entrance. And we went through a lot! He was very cordial, and took time to speak to the kids! Very big KUDOS!!!!!!

* Even on a very rainy day, there is so much to do just around the complex. Saturday 11/16, it poured all day, but the villas were alive with activity. Kids swimming, weddings, boardwal shopping, or a short walk through the gateway to the countries. Just a fabulous location.

* Found everything we needed in our studio to setup "light" housekeeping and meals. For us, this was a huge a difference and advantage over our previous stay last year at CRB.

* One dissapointment for me was the size of the studio room. We will now be a 1 room family! There is just no place for excited kids to go and do when they get up in morning, except get you up with them! Certainly a one bedroom unit will remedy this!

* Also being able to do wash in the room, or cook a full meal for the kids would be an added convenience. Not to mention 2 televisions, so I won't have to turn it off so the kids can go to sleep!

* Not many closets or drawers. For a family of 4, staying 10 days, we had plenty of clothing that needed to be stowed away. And there was not enough storage space.

* Having a car at Disney (we drove) was also great! Being able to explore the area was fun.

So much to say, I don't want to bore you all. I am a new owner at OKW (May of 2002), but decided to stay at BCV. I was certainly not disapointed!

Let me know if you have any questions!

I have just one question -where was your lime green ribbon? I was at BCV the weekend before Thanskgiving(11/23-11/26) on a solo trip with my ribbon displayed on my lanyard. Since I was solo, I would have especially loved to meet other DISers. And yes, isn't the BCV just wonderful? Although I know if I want to go there, I'll be solo. Can't drag DH from OKW, so you made a good choice of where to buy.

Hi - I don;t get the "lime green ribbon!" I have seen it mentioned before. Why do you wear it? Thanks, Sandie B.
P.S. I agree about getting a large enough place. That is a definite benefit to DVC. I am absolutely thrilled you loved your BCV stay...we bought sight unseen (twice). Sandie

DelDVCer....Glad you had a great trip! And we are a family of four, and we know the studio won't work for us either. If you can afford the 1BR, you will find that it makes all the difference in the world!

As you mention, doing laundry in the room means you don't have to pack as much...even for those 10 day visits! And the full kitchen and refrigerator are great for those longer trips. But you sound like you were still able to have a great trip, and that's the most important thing.

Sandie...the lime green ribbon is worn by some who want to identify themselves as a DIS member, hoping to run into another DIS member that way.

Granny - Thanks, I will be on the lookout for the ribbons when we go next. Sandie

Thanks for the info!

We are so excited about our trip in June!:D

Hi:

I just submitted a new post about there being no hot water in our room. I'm just curious if you had a problem with the temperature of the water for your showers/baths? :D

No problem with Temp., however it was only between warm and hot, not HOTTTTT.

Water pressure was awful though.
