Just back first timer!!

From 12-1 to 12-5. Wow!! It took a year to plan and stress over weather, filming of parade, the right resort, the ADRs. It was worth every second!!
My DH could have cared less from day one of planning. Now he is planning our trip back next year.
We stayed at the Coronado Springs. That was my first best decision. We also visited other resorts while we were there. Our's was more calm and didn't seem to have the frenzy that the others had--We love peace and quiet!!
We got to practically walk on every ride!! One day we hit three parks!
We got out of MK early on 12-2 because it got kinda crazy with the filming but MGM was nice that afternoon.
The Christmas Parade at MVMCP was wonderful. We were all awestruck.
Also the buses at CSR are so fast and efficient.
Can't wait till next trip.

As a first timer, can you answer a question for me? We're taking our DDIL for the first time, and we're wondering-what things that you did (like what rides, what parades, what fireworks, food) really Wowed you the most?

The Christmas Parade at the MVMCP and the fireworks at MK. Fantasmic was great! My DH and DD loved EE at AK. Soarin--WOW! We could have done that all night. We also loved the Living Lands. Both DDs 11 and 15 even thought it was cool.
My husband says all of my research made things more fun. Because we new where to be and when for the best views of things.
We loved Disney after dark. The parks were so beautiful.

Also a first timer her. We've been back almost a month and we are already trying to figure out when the next trip will be. Dh greatly appreciated the planning. My UG and here were AWESOME for our magical adventure!

We are going next week -- first time at CSR -- (not first time to WDW) and we are excited. What section did you stay in and do you have any tips for staying at CSR? Also -- did you use the hairdryer in the room or did you bring your own -- currently debating on dragging mine or not. Thanks

As far as CSR goes....Just like everything I read said.. ask for cabanas 9. We had to be close to the food!!
One thing that we noticed was cool, was all the kids with those skate shoes on. My DD is great on wheels, she will get some for next trip.
Here is my opinion on do's and don'ts (as a first timer)
Don't do stitches great escape
Do Living Lands (cool)
Do Soarin of course,Thunder Mountain Railroad
Do EE,Rockin rollercoaster,Tower of Terror,Mickey's Philharmonic
Don't do Buzz lightyear unless you like video games(I wish someone had told me that)
Do Kona Cafe Yum!
Do Pizza Safari's sandwiches
Do choose your restaurants carefully
We didn't get to see or do everything but we have our list of things for next time!

OH!! Do Fantasmic but don't sit to close unless you don't mind getting wet
Test Track and Mission Space were both down when we went to Epcot but we will hit them next time.
