Before we went on our trip, I was addicted to reading everyone's reviews of their experiences, so I thought I would return the favor.
Counter Service:
Cosmic Rays Several choices. Food was great.
Pecos Bills We ate here the night of the MNSSHP. The choices are limited, but they were fine for what we needed. They have a great toppings bar for the burgers and just a nice place to sit down and rest a minute.
Sunshine Seasons (Epcot)Wide Selection. The food wasn't great but again it was o.k. for what it was.
Table Service:
Teppan Edo- Probably our least favorite. The food wasn't bad, but with a small child it was just limited.
Chef Mickey's- Way over rated. We had the breakfast. The food was mediocre at best. We were seated in a room off to the side which might have had something to do with it. There were other character breakfasts that were 100% better.
Liberty Tree Tavern- The food was great. A nice change of pace. Even though it is a set menu, there really is something for everyone.
Cinderella's Royal Table- We were going for the whole princess experience so we thought this would be perfect. The food was good, but not for the price. The Storybook Breakfast in Epcot was better all the way around. More princesses, better food, and cheaper. (we had free dining, but paid for this out of pocket). We wouldn't do this again.
Storybook Breakfast- Like I mentioned before this was so much better than Cinderella's Royal Table.
Ohana (Dinner) If I had only known how good this was going to be I would have made this reservation for every night! I had read mixed reviews, but this was our favorite hands down. Will be in our plans every trip from now on.
Garden Grill- This was another fixed menu. It was o.k. The service was wonderful, just nothing that we would be dying to do again.
Cape May (Dinner) This was such a nice surprise. My husband and I are huge seafood lovers, so this did not disappoint. Even if you aren't a seafood lover there are plenty of choices and a great selection for kids as well.
Ohana (Breakfast) Once again, Ohana doesn't disappoint! The magic began when they sat us next to the window with a view of Cinderella's Castle. The juice was to die for! The food was outstanding! Character interaction was great as well.
Tusker House (Breakfast) This was another great choice. The food was some of the best, a little something for everyone. The character interaction was great. You see the same characters here that you see at Chef Mickey's and it truly doesn't even compare, this was way better. This was another winner.
As you can see we did our share of eating on this trip. We tried to do as much character stuff as we could because that really was our main objective due to my daughter's age. Some of the food was hit or miss. None of it was horrible, just some we liked better than others.
