Just back. EMH resturaunt reports. Any questions?

I went to 2 evening EMH's last week, MGM and MK, and checked on open resturaunts for both. At MGM, unfortunately fast food options are limited. Two stands by RnR are open (don't remember which ones) and Backlot Express is open til 8:30. Specifically noted that Writer's Stop, Starring Rolls, Min and Bills, Peevy's Polar Concotions (Is that the name?) were closed. Prime Time Cafe does take seating after 7:00. In MK, Cosmic Rays was open;Auntie Gravities, Enchanted Grove, Pinnochio's, Columbia Harbor House were all closed. Casey's was open, but I think they closed before 10:00. CRT takes new seating after 7:00.
Also we ate at Rose and Crown (dinner), Boardwalk Bakery (alot!), Sci-Fi Drive In, French Pastry, CRT (lunch), Electric Umbrella, Artist's Pallette (SSR), Ghiardelli's, Pizzafari. Any questions?

Simba's Mom, How was R&C and CRT(lunch)? I am thinking about them both for my March trip!

How crowded were the restaurants? Was it easier to get a table?

Well, I just remembered one tip that we learned the hard way. If you get one of those pagers to wait for your table, hang around there anyways. At R&C, our pager didn't go off, they said they tried calling our name, but due to the confusion, we ended up waiting 45 minutes-and still didn't get a patio table (hoped they'd give us one since it's their fault for the non-functioning pager). I had salmon, which I thought was excellent, DS had chicken, which he also said was very good. I was the only one for dessert-creme brulee, good but the portion could have been bigger (Oink, Oink-I love sweets!). At CRT, I had chicken caesar salad-my must have every trip there. DS had prime rib, which he liked. Again, I was the only dessert eater, the ice cream with the chocolate crown. The ice cream was just ordinary vanilla-nothing special (like vanilla bean or golden vanilla). Although I'd made the PS in advance, I saw people making PS that morning at Sci-Fi and R&C. The resturaunts seemed very busy though.

If I remeber correctly, Sci-fi was seating until 9pm. You must have a wristband (for the emh nights) before they will even put your name down. We were able to just walk up and be seated around 8pm last week.
